When we entered the restaurant, it looked great and had a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The food was okay — not extraordinary, just average. However, our experience ended on a very uncomfortable note. Before leaving, we spoke with a lady at the counter and paid our bill. But as we were walking out, our server — a young lady — stopped us in front of many other customers and asked if we had paid. It was embarrassing and made us feel very awkward. This situation could have been handled more politely and professionally. A quick check before approaching us like that would have been much more respectful.

Visited for dinner and ordered the veg thali and puttu with fish curry. The veg thali was bland — curries lacked flavor, sambhar was missing, and the dessert was overwhelmed by cinnamon. Puttu with fish curry was just okay, could use more punch. Buttermilk was the only highlight. Spent $54 — not worth the price.

When I shared my feedback, the person I believe to be the owner seemed quite defensive — she cut the conversation short after just one point, without taking in the full feedback.

Absolutely loved the food - authentic, flavorful, and reminded me of home. Easily the best I've had in the U.S in my experience so far. The owner who is also the chef was incredibly polite and welcoming, adding to a warm and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended Masala dosa, Vegetable Koftha Curry and Vada!
The chutney’s and sambar tasted exactly like back home in India. Everything is made fresh, so the wait time is totally worth it.

As a South Indian, I can guarantee that the food feels like home. Loved it, nice service. Wish there's more room for people. I think people really appreciate this place as many keeps coming back. I had mysore masala Dosa and Bru coffee, which made my day.. I will surely come back for another bite. Parking may be limited on the street. Best time would be evening.

Outstanding South Indian comfort food - their Chicken 65 was perfectly spiced and the egg curry was delicious! The aloo and paneer parathas were flaky and stuffed generously. A solid 4/5 for authentic flavors and consistently good quality across both veg and non-veg dishes.

Decent food l. We ordered Malabar parota and Malabar chicken curry and both were decent . We ordered dosa and veg pakora. Veg pakora was fine. Somehow they were rushing us to get out of the restaurant and that felt little odd. May be because of graduation weekend and you are in university campus area

Sambar was terrible. It tasted like dal with no sambar spices. Did not taste like sambar at all. Do not recommend.

This place has really great Indian food! If you order off the night menu it’s incredibly cheap and very tasty. Portions are good and their butter chicken is the best I’ve had!

For past twelve years, we have been eating at Chili's food. It's delicious, fresh, and is always served with love. The owner, who also is the chef, is very caring, always comes out and yaljs to her customers. We love Chili's 💜

I used to go here regularly as a grad student. It was great to return to the same place many years later. Alas, they no longer offer the buffet (it was a good deal). However the flavors remain fantastic and the server was very amicable.

The Vegetarian Thali is very tasty. The okra dish and eggplant/garlic dish were our favorite.
