Chinooks is situated in the middle of a bunch of other businesses similar to a strip mall but it has nice open views inside of the marina. Overall, we have some complaints with some of the entrées in our party. We were a group of 13. Two people ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. Both would give it a seven out of 10. One of us ordered the shrimp and chicken Alfredo and the shrimp were very small, almost seems like they came out of a can. We were expecting larger size shrimp. I’ve eaten here several times, service always good, nice atmosphere, and the food is good. The reason my rating is not five stars is this: if you feature an item on the menu claiming it to be “New Orleans Style”, and it doesn’t come close, doesn’t even bare a resemblance to what it claims to be, you will lose a bit of credibility, thusly less stars in ratings.
