I have been to this location couple time now. First time I tried their dark hot chocolate with salted caramel flavor and it was good but just good. Second time, I tried their house hot chocolate with lavender flavor and that was delicious. The thickness was just to my liking and the flavor was not overpowering. I'll definitely go back for the house hot chocolate and will try other flavor. The service is always fast. This location can get a bit crowded due to its size and loud but once it gets loud they play some background music.

After visiting the store while in town for business, I placed an online order for more than $100 of items to share with my family. The money was removed from my account in February, and it is mid-March with nary a chocolate in sight. I've reached out to the online store, called the cafe to get the email of the (I assume owner) and sent an email, and reached out via telephone leaving 3 messages. I've heard zero back and have yet to see a chocolate or a refund.Now I have to spend my time going through my bank and the Better Business Bureau just to get a refund.This is really just obnoxious.

This place is a small, warm, and sweet spot for grabbing hot chocolate when you walk around the lake. I always get thick house hot chocolate. They have delicious truffles too, which are good for a gift. I like the barista, he looked tough at first but is very friendly and serves amazing hot chocolate every time :)

Great quality coffee and truffles! Really enjoy coming here. Service can be a bit slow, but that's expected when there's only one barista and six people in line. The guy working was super friendly and apologetic for the wait, so not an issue for me. They have delicious flavor options for the coffee and make a mean hot chocolate. I try a new truffle every time I come.

Looking at some other reviews today I felt the urge to write one so here it is. I have been coming here maybe once a week for the past few years after school. I really love this place; I know everyone who works the closing shifts on weekdays and have had nothing but great experiences since my first time coming with my brother who was also a regular while in high school. The house dark is wonderful and while I rarely have them on an intake basis, I have never had a bad chocolate from them. I would say the baked goods are not perfect but they are a chocolate shop and cafe not a bakery so I don't count it against them; if you want baked goods go to urban bakery down the street which doesn't have as good drinks but has great cookies. Chocolati is a calm and chill place which features local artists and always has something cool to look at while in. The location is wonderful and especially with the views of the lake it is a great place to go on a rainy day. I always try to tip well and have never had a bad experience with Mike, ella, or Chloe. Several of the reviews have mentioned two things generally tied to customer service. Firstly is quite a few mentions about tipping: for starters, I would say just tip, to be noted though is that I think these are mostly about the same person, the review which mentions swearing after not tipping came after an occurrence which happened when I was there. As far as I am aware that person no longer works there and the other person in that day was wonderful and very apologetic(though she didn't do anything wrong). Second is time: my note for this is twofold, first if you come in at a busy time you're going to wait, they are small and green lake gets busy that is how it is, second is that in comparison to a lot of other places, if it is noon on a Saturday they are pretty average for time. Overall I am incredibly grateful for this place. It is a good environment with some of the best cocoa in the city and some of the kindest staff I have encountered. Thanks to the whole team there and I am sorry for any who might avoid it because of unsavoury experiences as they are missing out on a lot.

Visited today and got a chocolate chill, I believe and a sea salt caramel truffle. It was so delicious and great for my stroll around the lake. The barista (didn’t catch their name, orange Texas longhorns(?) shirt, working at 11:30am on Thursday?) was phenomenal, great service and really made our experience top notch. Very friendly and sweet, made us feel extremely welcome. The shop itself is fairly small and not a ton of seating but it’s the perfect place to stop in for a treat before or after a lake stroll. I parked in a nearby neighborhood but not much close parking.
