The most quintessential old Seattle spot I can think of. It's almost like I time traveled back to the idealized 90s of my youth- alternative music playing, quirky interior and architecture, art and local crafts for sale, zines in the corner, staff having philosophical discussions with customers, and the atmosphere of anti-consumerism/big business.
This is a chocolate shop! And it's a good one. Hot chocolate, truffles, and all sorts of cocoa treats are available. A great place to eat a treat and read, or work on a creative project. Enjoy the vibe before it disappears, like so many local businesses that have been disappearing over the last decade.

i swear to god this is the only coffee shop matcha latte worth a damn within like 10 miles of me. perfect. cinnamon almond aztec truffle is so good. service is amazing. it’s so cute in there too!!!!! THE BEST. see photo for the outstanding little creature the barista made me a couple weeks ago

Hot chocolate can be sickly sweet, overly milky, or both. This was the exception and by far the best cup of hot chocolate I've ever had! Great smallish selection of vegan chocolates.
Drinks are great which is to be expected from Chocolati! For some reason they only had one person working on a Saturday though, so service was extremely slow on a busy day. I know it’s stressful to be short staffed, but a 30 minute wait for two americanos was unexpected.
