It is a very enjoyable place to visit, but it would be wise to have cash available, as it may be helpful.

🎬 The venue for the November 13, 2017 stop in Seattle, Washington for the Hate Me Now/Love Me Later Tour (featuring Uno The Activist, Thouxanbanfauni, and Warhol.ss) was Chop Suey. It was a pleasure to photograph your venue. ★★★★★

Got the free entrance ticket but would not be let in, what a disappointment. Usually a good club, this time the ticket guy was a bum, would recommend, okay club otherwise

Security team has changed and has a couple of super rude folks, especially the new lady and her brother. Used to frequent this place and bring along tons of friends, but wouldn’t go now and would never recommend.

DJs played songs in their entirety

The bartender in the attached bar space (not the dance floor) was rude as hell and humiliated me in front of other patrons. I paid $20 to get in but had to leave immediately as a result. I will not be back until the bartender is either disciplined or let go and will recommend all my friends against going to this place and spread the word about the poor service

cover here is SO overly expensive for a club full of dudes. unfortunately they host good dance nights. security is usually nice

The place is loud with live music and a bar. You can get drinks in the attached bar or at the bar in the dance space. There is a hot dog stand outside and across the street as well.

Entry is cash only, unless you book tickets beforehand with card. They do have an ATM at the entertance, for anyone who forgets cash cover.

Friendly bouncers and staff that are kind and helpful when needed.

There is a live DJ and during event nights and sometimes balloons and cotton candy available.

Bathrooms are generally clean but the bathrooms are fairly small, so there is often a wait as the night picks up.

Crowd doesn't usually pick up until about 10/10:30, but doors open at 9:00.

Free self-serve water is available at all times.

There is also a photo booth and a small set of couches and chairs to lounge on.

Occasional strobe lights and dim lighting can make navigation a challenge for some.

The only drawback is the place can be a bit dirty with sticky floors and rips and tears in the furniture. But...that just gives it character.

Plan to be a bit warm or dress lightly. There is a giant fan blowing, but the dance floor gets quite hot.

Overall a fun place to go, especially on theme nights. Everyone is welcome and the atmosphere is friendly.

over all the place is not that cool plus my buddy paid to get in They forgot to stamp him then he walked outside to help me find my wallet that I had left in the Uber and then he went to go back inside and they pretended like they had never seen him.

Even if you do get in basic OK EDM spot

Rad vibe, but AC would be a huge upgrade.

My bestie and I drove from Vancouver to attend Saturday night for the Emo vs Pop-punk on July 26th. It was our first time at Chop Suey and we had a blast! The staff were super nice, everyone was friendly. We stood for the whole show but we were dancing and having a blast. I’m definitely coming back to visit! They have a nice seating area too if you get there early enough.

Could use alil more air flow but its a banging spot

Rorie S. Ching

Super great DJ's and music, could do with more air circulation on a very regular basis considering how many people they get in there, but otherwise such a sweet spot 👏🏻🥳👏🏻🎀

Anders Larsson

Great venue, good stage and seating options. No issues about disabled access.
