Amazing spot. Love the blend between a bookshop, taproom, and restaurant. Exactly what I want in a bottle shop.

Great atmosphere, good pastries, and a great selection of books next door. Trivia night on Weds was fun, not as noisy as other places.

No longer dog friendly . Place sucks. Employees blame the health dept . Give me a break , have you been to Ballard with multiple food operations and you can go inside and "sigh" order . Sad that they fail .

Little pricey, and also tasty.

Best coffee . Cute shop and lots of great books :))

Dogs are welcome in the covered outdoor patio. This is a reasonable restriction, since the store is essentially a blend of bookstore and brew pub. Fantastic selection!

Unrivaled beer selection and fantastic bar food. Love the special burger. Love how the selection constantly changes. Homely vibes that are great for a casual beer with friends

New nightly special on the menu: Special Burger and a Hamm's tall boy from 8-9pm daily. Chuck's Press Smash Burgers are great and the grilled cheese is crispy and tasty. It doesn't need it, but dip the grilled cheese in a side of queso for extra cheesiness! Gets busy on the weekends but pretty quiet on a Tuesday. The kitchen is small so check the menu board for the estimated wait time for food if you're extra hungry. Dogs allowed inside but no no longer allowed to join for indoor dining.

This place is kinda...heaven? You've got a top notch bookstore (new and used books), 50 amazing beers and ciders on tap that are all fresh because this place does the business and the tap list is constantly changing (you'd be hard pressed to find a better selection in Seattle), super friendly staff, burgers and fries and pulled pork and katsu sandwiches and wings, coffee and pastries, ice cream, a walkin bottle fridge with more beer, cider, and wine offerings downstairs, arcade and pinball machines downstairs, plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs, and outdoors on the covered heated patio, and even a TV to watch whatever game is on...what more could one want? Oh, parking is fairly easy (not on the small lot, but on the street nearby), you've got Seward Park and Lake Washington down the hill within walking distance, you've got Caffe Vita and a pasta/pizza place across the street, Bent Burgers a block away...its kinda perfect ?

My first experience. Not a good selection of Belgian imports and not friendly staff.

Wonderful to be able to pick up a book and then read it while enjoying food and drinks.

This place was pretty cool and had a lot to offer - we stopped in just for the single refrigerated beers though. Good selection but could use more dark beers/stouts. :)

Super chill and attached to a bookstore! You can go downstairs and play pinball while you browse their endless selection of beer, cider and wine. The food was also great, my friend and I got their burger and tots and it was pretty tasty! The staff are very nice and helpful and will be back again!
