So many items which are clearly marked as vegan or being able to be made vegan. Delicious and generous portions. Quite elegant inside and the wait staff were not only professional but fun. Perfect spot for vegans and non-vegans!
The food is excellent and service is as well. You can't go wrong with anything here.
I’ve been eating here for 15 years and it’s some of the best tikka masala I’ve ever had.

Ordered Lamb RoganJosh by ubreets .... The worst chunks of bland pieces of lamb in generic gravy.
To the manager - demote your "chef" to a kitchen help... Unless you are in it too selling MTR packets as your food.

I love this space. This is the place you take yourself, a place you can take a date, your loved ones. The beautiful thing about this place is the great food, but also the people who run it. You come here and who knew that you could smile so much from the warmth of the people that work here. This is a family business and one that all should visit.
I love the lunch buffet, I love the people, I love the meals.
Solid spot. Can't wait to come back. Feels like going to someone's house that you love and they have made you delicious food.

Delicious curries and saags. Try the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. I also like their aloo saag, chicken curry and raita. I’m happy the lunch buffet is back too!

The food quality is ok not wow. I visited most of the best Indian Restaurants in and around Washington. This was the only Restaurant I found following the Indian service with proper cutlery and crockery. For example Separate plates for snacks and proper quarter and dinner plates for main course. I found them providing a separate plate for bread. Serving the desert after clearing and cleaning the table. Still they have to do a lot as per the standard of a good Indian restaurant. If they look into personal touch in service they can do Training the staff is a must.

I live nearby and get food from Chutneys about once a week (44 times in the past year).
I *love* this place. The staff are always friendly and efficient, and the food is always top notch. I've had a lot of other Indian food around the US, and this is among the best I've personally had. I especially appreciate that they can give some heat- I've had other Indian restaurants disappoint when I ask for food "as hot as they can make it."
Vegetarian options: Chutney's has plenty of vegetarian options

We've ordered delivery a few times before we dined in, and didn't realize what we were missing out on. The food is great, the service is great, and it's in one of the coolest buildings in Wallingford!
This place is seriously underrated and I'm surprised it's not packed all the time. I bring out of town friends here often and they are always very impressed and love the food!
Definitely don't pass this place up.

Good food, great Ambience, the owner is polite. I had the buffet, which cost me 20.61 bucks.
They have good vegetarian options. Loved the momos, ate those after a long long time. The veggie tikka masala was aslo good. Daal needs some work, bland taste.

I used to go to this restaurant for a long time now, but the buffet options have changed. The pakoras and the samosas are pre fab, the options are sparse, but, I get it. Inflation really has done a number on businesses. It would be nice to have more than just chicken(i.e. lamb, real pakoras, fish, etc). It's a sign of the times. But the service was great!

The atmosphere looked very nice and welcoming which is why we are excited to try this place, however, the service and the food was far from nice and welcoming. we ordered biryani and when the food came it didnt look anything like what biryani should look like. the rice looked undercooked and it looked like rice and curry was hastily thrown together. when we brought this up to our server he started arguing with us, asking us why we ordered something we werent going to eat. he tried to tell us that the biryani was supposed to look like that. we have been cooking and eating biryani all our lives, we know what biryani should look like. the server was extremely rude with us and was very hesitant to take the food back. we have never experienced such a rude server in our lives. the veg momo was very under spiced and dry, and rather then mo:mo it was veg samosa in momo shape. We know what fired momo is . That is what we have been eating since childhood. the paneer was rock hard and extremely hard to eat. Either it was fried for too long or we were served old food by frying it again. We just could not tell . the over all dining experience was very bad. the owner did come up to us to apologise for the server and didn't have us pay. i recommend that the servers get proper training and learn basic human respect.
I called them to enquire about the buffet. He told me it is available on weekday and weekend with price. Since price is higher on weekends I asked if there is a difference in menu. The guy very rudely said you have to come and take a look. No matter what I ask, he says the same thing.I clarified I just want to know if there are additional items to justify 20% higher price and he is like come here and take a look. Nobody goes to the restaurant to decide what additional dish is offered. I didn’t ask for the specifics but simply the kind - like desserts are served or drinks.Who in their sane mind responds like this? Very bad customer service for sure.

Our favorite Indian food. Coconut curry, lamb curry, and mango curry ( pictured)are the best! I got 4 star spice, and it was very flavorful vs super spicy.

I was surprised to see an Indian place having a buffet option. It's not a huge selection but the food is delicious.I also enjoy how you can either serve yourself on a regular plate or use a metal dish with separation.
