Howdy, do you take reservations for 2?. No. Ok what's a typical wait at 630 Sat night. " I don't know honey. 1 hour. 2 hours. Depends on what is going on in the world maybe 20 minutes". Why do people need to be so nasty? I mean this used to be a service industry. And it is a completely reasonable question. Bad vibes. Bad energy.

Hot Off The Grill! Stop by @ciudadseattle for some delicious Mediterranean inspired tapas. Located South of Seattle in the Georgetown neighborhood you can this buzzing restaurant. They offer a variety of starters and small plates plus their grill-able items.•We started with some fresh hot flatbread with hummus, labneh and baba ghanoush. I really enjoyed the labneh! The roasted beets were beautiful and looked almost like ahi poke ? tasted amazing too! The saffron cauliflower was packed with flavor. The hanger steak was the star of the show! Make sure to get chimichurri and black garlic aioli sauces! The octopus was grilled perfectly. Can’t go wrong with @ulisfamoussausage sausage. Have you visited before?

I had high hopes for this place when I saw the outdoor grill and freshly cooked food.We ordered halloumi, chicken, steak, and octopus. Surprisingly, everything was average (and cold). The steak wasn’t tender, the octopus missed some seasoning and was cold too. The chicken was cooked well but once again, cold.Even the halloumi was nice but I’ve had so much better. The waiter also forgot the flatbread and I had to ask for it a second time. Even when it came it looked like grocery store flatbread.

If you haven't been back to Ciudad in a minute and are wondering if it's still worth the trek to Georgetown - know that it is just as fantastic as it always has been. The mix of flavors in their offerings is not to be missed. Great variety and innovation on the menu means there's something for everyone in your group, and something new to try every time you visit. The space is quirky and challenging to find - like a rare gem should be. Thanks for another great meal, Ciudad!Vegetarian options: Really good falafel and so many veggie plate options - winter selections included cauliflower, brussel sprouts, salad and their year-round amazing patatas. Each one its own dish carefully composed with flavors that will surprise and delight.

Everything is really well done. The concept is simple and liked the family share. The meats were all fantastic with the octopus taking top place. Cost for 4 was $205! One star off for that. And we did not over order for our group. Just be ready. And go at 4:30 to get in without a 2 hour wait.

Amazing food and wonderful ambience. Have been several times -- the veggies and grilled meats and cocktails are all wonderful. .

Great place for a light to medium, but very satisfying meal. Excellent fresh ingredients with full flavors. Fun vibe with good music playlist playing. We were a party of two and ordered the beet salad, shawarma prawns and roasted veggies. Delicious! Reservations not required but recommended for groups over 4. We'll be back again!

On 3/16/24, I went with two others to dine for dinner here. The entrance and sign is small enough to miss the restaurant, but you enter a space with a small deli counter and a grill for what looks like a take out space with a few barstools to wait. 5 steps into the place and there is a door that is heavy, made of metal that you pull open. Eat your Wheaties before you grab that door as it is heavy as hell. It opens to the restaurant that is filled with loud conversation, music, and people. The serving staff is pleasant and engaging, but the wait can be as long as an hour. Reservation are only for parties of 6 or more. We were able to squeeze in at the bar counter. A space designed, ideally for people 5'10' or shorter. The chairs at the bar counter border on torture, but the bartender was a delight. She was engaging and checked on us at appropriate intervals as I watched her perform magic at the bar mixing drinks I had a purple rain drink that was delightful, refreshing, with a splash of Prosecco that went well with the Prince song playing at the time.! We had humus and flat bread that was delicious, the bread was soft and warm. We shared Patatas Bravas: crisp Yukon gold potatoes with spice, a bit of salsa brava m, and a roasted garlic aioli that was wonderful. The Saffron Cauliflower: beautifully prepared with hazelnuts, dried apricots, and date molasses. This sweet/savory dish was amazing and well done. We ordered the chicken. Now all the meats and vegetables on their main dishes are grilled. I would grill everyday if possible and I am a chicken aficionado. The tahini -based spices and seasoning was tasty and I wanted more. The meats and veggies are ordered by the pound. So paying $44 dollars for a pound of chicken was catching but worth the experience. We also had a small bowl of raw vegetables that were refreshing and a great balance to the flavor intense chicken. Now this place is described as mediterranean, but the chefs are Spanish speaking and clearly have added their influence on the flavors. This can be missed by many but appreciated by a few. There is also a back room with a few more tables and a large plant that I would love to take home. I love the art and murals. I would like to come back, but I would need to remind some of my friends that the cost may be out of their range. I did not ask about to -go orders, but assumed they have them. An experience worth repeating.

Terrible service. The staff was cold and unattractive- as if they want to deter business.

Food is delicious. I don't know how to describe it as a cuisine. Service was great. It is small and a bit noisy but that is true of most restaurants, lol. Hidden gem.

I loved it, but the wife thought the food was salty. The beef was the best (her words), then the chicken, and then the pork collar. The cauliflower was also very good, and we would have loved to have tried the octopus without the marinade. I would give it another go, but I think I would be going solo.Your tastes may vary, and I'd still give it a try if are interested. Fair warning... It's a little on the pricey side.

We LOVE Ciudad! The food is amazing, service is always great. My only suggestion is PLEASE add some alcohol free beers. There are LOTS of us AF people out there now and most restaurants I frequent carry a small selection. This is the second time I asked and the server just shrugged. No bueno. It's not that difficult. Thank you!
