So many amazing vegan options along with the non-veg options. Had the #4 breakfast sandwich, the tofu bahn mi, and the oatmeal chocolate chip muffin and my friend got the same bahn mi and a maple latte...all so good 🩷 and the staff were so kind and helpful. Just a solid spot. Check it out 🌸

A bit awkward here, since my breakfast sandwich was delicious, and my coffee was too (AND also a work of art), but I do NOT recommend others support this business, nor spend any time inside it!
I googled something like “best coffee shop with parking and wi-fi near me” while visiting friends in Seattle recently, and this place was at the top of the list of search results. Over 1,000 google reviews, and a rating of 4.7 stars, so I was on my way!
There was NOT actually much parking, so I ended up walking quite a ways to get there, leaving my car far enough away that I wouldn’t have heard the alarm, had someone broken into it.
Worse yet, I arrive to find a bunch of divisive and contradictory nonsense posted in the front window. They have a sign declaring it’s a “safe space”, but also a bunch of anti-law enforcement and “no guns” stuff posted too, so I’m not sure who they think is going to keep the place “safe” if somebody with bad intentions ignored the “no guns” sticker and went in there to cause trouble.
In addition to feeling unsafe, I also didn’t feel very welcomed in there either. They have stuff posted about welcoming those with black skin, and those who are gay, but nothing about the rest of us!
In addition to the lack of parking and actual safety, and the divisive and unwelcoming signage, it’s also quite cramped inside!
Anyway. I wouldn’t bother with this place, nor support their nonsense. There’s bound to be better, safer and more welcoming coffee shops around.

I love cloud City and I'll still go when I have the time, but waiting a true 15 minutes for a doppio and slice of coconut bread is wild. It's just getting way too busy and they can't keep up with demand, it seems.

I picked up an insulated cambro container from Cloud City to take to a run club event, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Not only is it awesome to be able to get a container that keeps the coffee hot, but the service was incredible. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they made sure I had cups, stirrers, and everything else I needed. Plus, plenty of people at the event commented that the coffee was delicious. Thank you, Cloud City Coffee!

EDIT: After leaving a fair review of my experience at Cloud City Coffee, the owner decided that they're too sensitive to take feedback and questioned the validity of my review. I recommend another bakery in my previous review as a comparison, and the owner decided to MOCK MY LEARNING DISABILITY due to a misspelling. I will never buy from here again; shame.

Super impressed with this locally owned coffee shop... It has the vibe of old school Seattle coffee shops with a fresh edge, which is to say it's casual and comfortable, made for hanging out, but they also carry more food and make it easy to get stuff to go. They bake and make all their stuff in house. The excellence of their wares is evidenced by the number of customers and the many take out orders getting picked up. The counter person was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. They recommended several things and I tried the coconut bread, a signature item. It was delicious - a large slab that was moist and flavorful. I appreciate the variety. This isn't the same old-same old. My iced coffee with vanilla was perfection. I look forward to returning soon!
However they get my order wrong nearly every time. Often you have to call or wait for someone to come to the register. It takes a long time to get your order as well.
It's also quite pricey.

Awful experience and one that left me perplexed as to why it’s highly rated.
Cashier was extremely rude and was arguing with the customer before me and was just as rude and apathetic to me.
Food was a microwaved mess and one that was extremely disappointing. It was microwaved and soggy and lackluster. McDonald’s has better breakfast sandwiches which is saying a lot.
The black coffee was downright terrible. Couldn’t even drink it. Had my friend who is a coffee aficionado try it and they threw it out immediately after taking a sip.
The atmosphere was LOUD! Not a good environment at all like most coffee houses. Couldn’t talk with my friend due to the noise.
Overall an awful experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Best coffee in Seattle and I don't say this lightly. As someone who is incredibly familiar with this area's coffee scene, I can easily say this spot knocks the competition out of the park. The brekky sammies were greasier than my uncle (mom's side) but hit the spot. When we were getting straws, this old timer told us three dad jokes. So, yeah, needless to say, this place claps

The quintessential neighborhood coffee shop that also roasts their own coffee offsite. Coffee is great, menu has fun seasonals, donuts are special and delicious...all of this has been said and I agree with the praise. In case no one has mentioned it...the side of bacon is basically perfect and exemplifies the care they put into the rest of their service. Props to the incredible staff!
