Rude, pretentious, gatekeeping edgelords. Love to mock customers on their Instagram. Toxic masculinity ruins the party again.
No samples??? disappointing
Well, I really looked forward to visiting Cloudburst as I’ve enjoyed their beers when I lived on the West Coast…as well as buying 4 packs of their beer to go! Upon arriving, I asked the beertender if I could please taste a “small splash” of an IPA to make sure I’d want to buy a full pour since I’ve had long covid (taste distortion) due to covid. I was told “No we don’t do that here” per the owner. Don’t do that here?? Hmmm… I’ve yet to visit a brewery in Seattle, California or Tennessee that won’t allow a paying customer to taste a beer or two to choose between. Coming from the industry I find this very odd and disappointing, considering I flew from Nashville, walked a mile to come visit and support a brewery that I have always loved. It’s honestly not a good look to not take care of your customers who come to support and who have also promoted you to many coworkers over the past 4 years. I truly hope the owners/management will reconsider their policies in light of how other local breweries treat their customers. Yes I’m sure there are some who might abuse the system or spend too much time on untapped reading reviews and tasting multiple beers, but at the end of the day we are in the customer service industry…Take care of your customers/ supporters and they will take care of you. Cheers!
Excellent beers
Super chill vibe, good beers!
We visited Seattle for 4 days and made it to as many breweries as we possibly could (7, I believe) and Cloudburst was the best beer. We also tried several beers at other various bars/taprooms that weren't necessarily breweries. Cloudburst was the best beer out of those as well. Top notch lil 'hole in the wall' brewery and highly recommended.
Excellent !!!
Beer was fine. Busy, cramped industrial space. Dogs allowed. If I wanted to drink beer on a loading dock I'd get a job at a warehouse.
Great beer and lovely staff who were happy to chat with a Brit abroad. More than worth a visit if you're in the area.
Outstanding beer. Best hoppy beer in Seattle, imo. Taproom is small and full of character. Black Sabbath blasting from the speakers. Great vibe.
The bartender was the absolute worst. He thought he was too cool for his customers. He was just a drag on an otherwise great place.
Restaurantji Recommends
Unique building with lots of character just down a couple of blocks from the Market. Great beers on tap! Worth the visit!
Ignore the smell of piss comments its the smell of hops (working brewery) great beer
Above average beer at the market — worth a stop by.
Beers are pretty ok. No flights and no samples is kind of bullshi*t.
Spent a few hours here and every single pour was a knockout. Shout out to Alex at the bar-top for introducing us to some great beers. I recommend the Keller biers, Summer Ale and IPAs.
