Picked this place out of the blue and it was surprisingly delicious! We enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff were so friendly and so personable. Etta and Angel were fantastic, Etta was so sweet to my daughter, giving her a little coloring project. The food did take a little long to come out but it was worth the wait as they made basically everything from scratch. The sauces here are amazing, they plan to bottle them as they are in such high demand.

Stopped by on a whim, and glad I did. Person working the counter was super helpful in explaining the menu. I got the vegan chorizo arepa with plantains, and I could tell it was made carefully, and with love!

The food at Cocina Casera always delights, since it's like eating a home-cooked meal prepared with love. The team running this little gem sprinkles its magic liberally on every dish, making it difficult to choose what to order. The vegetable soup will warm you up on a rainy Seattle day.

I was looking for a vegan-friendly restaurant and found this gem on the internet. It was the best restaurant meal we had all week while in Seattle! The chef was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If we ever make it back to the area, we will definitely eat here again!

The food was delicious! The arepas were great, the dough was on point. We also got fried yucas and they amazing too. Most importantly, amazing service. The chef very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Went here on a weeknight to check it out, and I didn't know what to expect, but it was surprisingly an amazing experience. The restaurant itself is small and doesn't have much seating, but this provided us a cozy setting and the chance to chat with the chef and staff, who were friendly and welcoming.

The food was delicious and filling. I had the beef arepa which was very flavorful and tender, complemented by the cheese and crispy exterior. The Yuca fries were gigantic, seasoned just right, and also went well with the variety of sauces they had. I had the rojo sauce which was the perfect balance of spiciness for me.

I would definitely go back to try the other items on the menu as well as enjoy chatting with everyone.

This place is a hidden gem! We had the chicken and beef arepas and they were delicious. Both the chicken and the beef were very tender and flavorful. The avocado and rojo sauce were great additions. The yuca fries filled us up.

The owners/chefs were very friendly and personable. It was our first time here and they helped us with the menu and were just chatting with us. The restaurant is very cute and cozy.
