They do not have the tamales anymore FYI but the food is still good, waiter did not smile once which was fine , rice and beans are a must eat

This has been the worst place in have gone to! I paid over $100 for 3 tlayudas and when I got home to eat them there was no salsa no napkins nothing! The guy that I spoke to and took my order was super rude and looked bothered to even take my order. I understand how it is to work in customer service but this person has no knowledge on what customer service is!

Pretty good pricing, simple ingredients with a lot of work. no skimping on the quality ingredients. Not sure what the one star reviews are about. Maybe they wanted the overtones and predictability of Taco Hell?

This has the be the freshest tasting Mexican food! They make the tortillas and chips every morning along with the salsa. The staff is also super friendly and nice. But really can’t stress just how fresh everything tasted, would certainly recommend!

Food is good but pricey. It's not as flavorful as the mole dishes that I had in Oaxaca many years ago, but for $16.99, I expected to get more than 1 small piece of chicken in their chicken mole. Because there was not enough chicken, I had rice left over which covered over half the plate.

Very authentic Mexican which was an unexpected surprise. Gem of a location, food was excellent and the service was very good.

I almost never write reviews. Almost always when something isn't working out I say they must be having a rough day and let it go. This place...I just can't get out of mind.Do not buy anything from this place. It's the worst thing I've ever seen anyone try to make money creating. Their torta looks like someone figured out the recipe for sadness and tragedy and condensed it into a stale yet also dripping nightmare.Like someone put a good torta into a sock and road rage backed over it for a recession year in the sun while crying in clown makeup to country music.Food poisoning has more flavor and care in it than the food at Cocina Oaxaca. I feel the worst for folks with similar business names making actual Oaxacan cuisine (imo best in the world) yet categorized anywhere near these sad, withered, self deprecating and forlorn sandwiches. It looked -hostile-. Sandwiches are not supposed to look hostile. Viva Oaxaca, pero que pena

Excellent authentic flavors just a few steps from the lake. Great place to enjoy a refreshing beverage or a family meal. Outdoor seating is available!
