Smoothies and sandwiches I’ve gotten have always been great. The reason for 3 stars is, the past handful of times I’ve come in I’ve had to wait 10+ minutes for my food or drink. I’ve seen other customers that have placed an order after I have get their food or drink way before mine is being made.
I noticed someone said they were treated differently because of their race, and while I can't dismiss their words or feelings I can say I have had a very different experience here. Speaking as a black man, I specifically choose to come to Coffee Tree over other close coffee shops (of which there are many) because of the great food/drinks and the vibe and energy. Love this place! Staff is very nice, and it's a cozy place to hang out. This is the sister cafe of the Coffee Tree & Bop around the corner (that has amazing quality fresh-cooked food). Coffee tree is great for a quick cafe snack, sandwich and drink :)
