I traipsed into Coffee Tree & Poke on First Hill and ordered the Ippo Sake poke bowl with a crisp iced coffee but my eyes kept wandering to the Spam Musubi. Staff were sweet and chirpy, the vibe chill minimalist café meets hospital lobby and I’ll definitely snag that musubi next time with a smoothie. Outdoor seating is limited but all you’d see are hospital scrubs anyway - Take the Musubi and smoothie for a walk in one of Seattle’s architecturally richest neighborhoods!

been there a couple times now. Had a cappuccino twice. Both times excellently prepared, proportioned correctly, beautiful latte art and piping hot. Awesome. On my first visit, had a donut, but just tried the spam and egg breakfast today. Really wonderful. With a few morning appointments at nearby Harborview, I wanted somewhere close - but away from the hospital complex - for breakfast. Coffee Tree Poke is just two blocks away, about a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed breakfast sandwiches, prepared exactly as ordered and served piping hot. I also enjoyed a London Fog in a takeaway cup. Cut space with seating for 8 to 10.
