I got the taro milk to you with brown sugar boba, the milk tea was really frothy and tasted kind of fake and chemically flavored not like your standard Taro milk tea, the Boba was not soft and chewy and tasted like there was just raw brown sugar at the bottom of the drink.

Ok I’m torn bc I think it’s so fun to customize your order! I can’t say the mint ice cream really tasted that minty? Or maybe I just have different levels of sweetness. Overall a cute spot if you want something different but I don’t think it was my favorite place to get ice cream in general

Update: I recently went back with a friend and the ice cream was not the same. The ice cream barely filled the cup, was melting, and she tried to put deflated melty whip cream on my ice cream. The woman making my ice cream was clearly annoyed with my open and direct corrections as I requested that she fix it. This use to be a 5 star experience but after this, it's maybe a 2. The way you prepare someone's ice cream, especially if they're paying $15 for it, matters immensely. Its also discerning that there's no way to remotely contact the store or get in touch with management. I don't know if I'll be coming back after this experience because I hate wasting money. I used to love getting ice cream here. It's just too much of a gamble knowing that I might get different quality everytime I go in depending on who's making the rolled cream.

I ordered a float and there was no tea and just a massive cup of ice cream. The soft serve was good, but ordering a tea with ice cream for there to be almost virtually no tea was pretty disappointing.

I went there with my friend for rolled ice cream. I got the fruity pebble rolled ice cream! 100% recommended! They have a variety of choices. The rolled ice cream I got was so delicious. I'll come back here to try out one of the sundaes!~
Tried the matcha man (matcha and vanilla ice cream) and the thai tea vanilla ice cream combo. They both were good if you like your desserts sweet sweet. The reason why I gave this place a 1 star is because they have just one young lady working the whole thing: taking in-store orders, making in-store orders, making kiosk orders, and making delivery services orders all alone. She did a great job, but man... with the profit you're making, you can't hire another person? This girl better be getting a living wage with full benefits.

Loved it. Cold Plate’s overall vibe was very hidden cafe chill and the service was great. The sundae was a perfect size and a lovely way to satisfy the Oreo cookie crumble craving.

wish i found this place earlier! it's A LOT of soft serve for around $5. i actually had to throw away half because i couldn't finish it -- and because there's flavor fatigue. it's quite sweet and melts fast, reminds me of the costco vanilla ice cream in a tub, but if it was in soft serve form. i recommend coming here with a friend and sharing. that being said, i'm giving it 5 stars for the price deal.
