Located at the Thompson Hyatt, Conversation offers a beautifully designed space with a nice view of the Sound. The breakfast menu features five entrees, including the delicious steel cut oats and salmon Benedict. The ambiance inside is warm and inviting, with friendly and professional wait staff who provide great service, even during busy times. Pricing is reasonable for a hotel restaurant, and the coffee is delicious. For dinner, guests have enjoyed the spectacular halibut meal, roasted oysters, chile butter shrimp, and eggplant lasagna. The crispy chicken sandwich, especially when lettuce wrapped, and the potato cakes were also hits. Whether staying at the Thompson or exploring downtown near Pike Place Market, Conversation is a great spot for a nice meal with upscale service and several gluten-free options.
