First time trying and OMG sooo good!!! Inside is kinda small but open seating that like opens it up so it doesn't seem as small. I had the spicy chicken sandwich combo with the like first notch of spicy and it was just right!! Chicken is juicy and huge piece on my sandwich. Fries were excellent. Definitely going here again. Must try if you haven't!

My chicken thigh was under cooked, the mash potatoes were under cooked, the potatoes were a lil hard an our fries were cold. I ordered a 2 piece chicken tender meal with fries an mash potatoes, a 3 piece chicken meal with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw a whooping total of $42.00. Sorry guys the food wasn't worth the money, but we tried due to the Instagram post pictures. A no go, we won't be back.

Portions are really good and the food's flavor is always delicious. Currently, my wife and I's favorite Ballard staple. I recommend the barn burger. The chicken is always juicy! They do take about 20 mins to make your order tho, so either order online or come prepared to wait.

We've been here more than we should but it is just that good. The chicken is superb. Not only is the sandwich sooooo good but the chicken in the combo is just as wonderful. The collards, mac 'n cheese and fries are done really well. I wish I could eat here a lot more often. Best chicken AND sides in Seattle.

Was really looking forward to trying this place and it was so disappointing. The season fries were over seasoned and way too salty. The Fried chicken chicken was so greasy and inedible. You’re better off at Ezell‘s or somewhere else.

Had a hankering for fried chicken and Cookie's came up in my search. The chicken is incredible! Got the 3 piece dark + 2 sides + 3 extra dark because I'm a hungry hungry boy.The #2 and #3 spice level were perfect. #3 is no joke but it's the perfect balance of great and flavor. I might tempt fate and get the 4 someday. Not usually a collards person but figured I could balance out the heavier fried chicken. Was blown away by the sweet and tangy flavor of the collards. Perfect for the chicken.Love a place that lets me pick all dark meat (it's just better lol). Not gonna point fingers or name names but this now my fav fried chicken spot in town.Staff were very friendly and helped me out since it was my first time. I'm coming back; see you all next weekend!! ?

The place is bigger inside than it looks from the street. Super clean and open. Service was 10/10. Chicken so juicy and the sauce choices vast and delicious.

The unsung hero of market street. Feel like this place has somehow flown under the radar while serving up delicious chicken with good options. Sauce here is a bit conflicting because they’re all so delicious it’ll rip your heart in two. Chicken sammys are top notch with the barn burner being the go to. The pound of chicken bites is crazy bang for your buck and allows you to not be disgusted with yourself when you ask for 4 different sauces. As far as the sides go the cup o’ gold is amazing and you can’t go wrong with Mac n cheese. The spice here certainly doesn’t mess around. Recommend getting the 1 or 2 star spice if you’re going to dabble. In terms of sauce, sassy, sunny, and that rowdy ranch do the trick, partna.(food smelled way too good to wait and take pictures before inhaling it)

Was craving some fried chicken close to home and this place hit the spot. Crispy fried chicken with a heat scale. I'm about it. If you're a hot Cheeto Girl like me, you could go spice level 3, only if yer down. I know coleslaw aint for everyone but I enjoyed the coleslaw a lot; it tasted freshly cut and had good flavor.

One of the best fried chicken I have ever had.Warning, while they have 4 stars, 3 stars is very spicy.
