Love this little neighborhood coffee shop! Pre-COVID, it was a great place to get some work done upstairs. They have a little parklet outside where you can enjoy coffee these days, and a walk-up window to order from. All the staff are super friendly and the coffee is great.

The sweetest little breakfast spot! The buttery Nutella waffle is literally amazing and the lavender latte I had was the best latte I had while visiting Seattle. No access inside, but there's a few tables outside where you can sit and enjoy your food!

I wanted to write a quick review to give this place a big shoutout!! Their customer service is outstanding. They give out free dog treats, so waiting in line can be pretty entertaining when people bring their dogs. :-)I'm typically an iced coffee (specifically cold brew) girl, but since it's getting colder, I'm trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and find a hot drink that I like. My go-to hot drink lately has been an almond milk latte with sugar-free vanilla syrup. I've tried a few -- some decent, some bad -- and this place takes the cake!! I wish it was closer to our place so I could walk there every morning and get a latte. Cortona Cafe is in a cute neighborhood and has very good ~vibes~. I just wish there was indoor seating! Overall, we had a great experience and I can't wait to come back. :-)

Recommended by my stylist who works right next door (Swing Salon, if you're looking for a great place to get a haircut), this cafe satisfied my sweet tooth in a big way. I ordered an Americano and a Nutella-covered waffle and they were a pretty stellar combo. The individual who helped me was spunky, personable, and gave me great customer service that went above-and-beyond.Would definitely recommend going.Note: You've likely read this in other reviews (I wouldn't have seen it had there not been someone waiting in line), but you have to go around the corner as there's a side window for placing and picking up your order (in keeping with COVID guidelines).

Black, LGBTQIA+, womxn-owned! We arrived here at 1030AM on a Thursday and the empanadas were almost sold out! We had the beef ones and they were delectable. The crust was buttery and flakey and the beef was perfectly warm and spiced. I highly recommend! Oh, and the Belgian waffle (add strawberries) brought back good childhood memories. Great balance of firm and soft for the waffle itself. We'll be back!

Nice corner spot where the staff are always friendly and the food is always good. If you are looking for a big treat their tiramisu waffle really hits the spot. They also have a wide array of empanadas which are delicious, cozy and not too heavy. What really got me about their empanadas is that they figured out the perfect way to identify them by stamping letters into the ribbing! I just ordered different types of empanadas and they all came in the same container. At first I was worried (because that is what I do), but then to have them all so clearly marked was so nice!!

I'm hooked! So happy to have found this sweet little coffee shop. Each time I've gone, I've received great service and gone home with a happy tummy. I highly recommend their blackberry danish! It was suggested to me by the barista working and it's a perfect pair with their coffee. And of course, their coffee is great and I wish I lived closer but its always worth the drive! The only thing is it is on the corner of a residential street so if you are driving here, parking can be tricky but I've always found a spot.

Had a really lovely experience at Cortona Café last weekend. During COVID they have a walk up window where you can order pastries, waffles and coffee. There is a parklet right on the corner that is the perfect spot for coffee and a light breakfast. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the Belgium Wafflle with fruit!
