The new menu is Mexican with yucca, tacos, sopes, etc. cdmx Mexican, not Azteca Mexican. Previously there were two solid vegan options, if I recall. Now there’s one serious dinner pick (the tacos with vegan al pastor), and a couple no- or low-protein dishes (sopes, also the tacos with poblanos) that lean on poblanos minus a crema that the non-veg option offers. I rarely order vega-by-subtraction things, so I leave it to someone else to review. The tacos are filling and made with handmade masa tortillas which is a nice touch. I liked them but I don’t know if I would seek them out as I did the dumplings.
Great bar with tasty small plate food.

Very nice atmosphere. , corvus is a hip local with good food and great floor service. The watermelon salad was a little underwhelming... But still good...
Great place to hang out or for a fun date

Very good place for drinks and vibes. The food is okay but you can find much better food places nearby for the price point. They are not consistent with cooking rice which should be very basic. Either too under cooked or over cooked. Their drinks are delcious though. So my recommendation is to go elsewhere for food and come in after for drinks.

Awesome food, drinks, and vibes! Our server recommended the special of the day, the chicken flautas, courtesy of their new chef from Mexico City 💚🤍❤️ it was one of the best Mexican dishes I’ve had in the city and other patrons echoed the same. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area!

Aye here and had the wonton mushroom tacos. The flavor was great! But the portions were way too small for the price. The service was amazing and I really liked everyone I interacted with at this place. It’s like a gothic feel/elevated hole in the wall and I’m here for it!

I've been coming here for 5 years. I met my partner in this bar. Its one of the few places you can get a shot and a beer or a truly creative cocktail and not feel out of place either way. It has a dedicated and long time staff, and regulars who have been coming in for ages as well. It gets busy on the weekends, as all bars on the hill do, but if you want a place that's good for friends and conversation, or to just sit in a corner and chill for a bit, I cant recommend a better bar. Third places that actually foster community can be rare in Seattle, and this one is one of the best.
We love this bar for happy hours. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating and the food and drinks are great

Corvus was lovely :) Drinks were awesome, food was delicious, our server and someone who seemed to be the manager was really nice, and the vibe was great. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in cap hill!

I've walked past Corvus no fewer than a hundred times in the last year and only just the other day decided to stop in for food and drinks for the first time. To their credit, I was in here less than an hour after they opened, but this was hands down the most sluggish service I've received from a bar in the neighborhood.
It took 20 minutes to get drinks even though there were only 3-4 other people in the place. We then waited about 45 minutes for the cook to melt some cheese on some canned sweet corn and spoon some shrimp ceviche into three fried wonton wrappers. It was highly mid in taste and wayyyy too highly priced for the portion.
The crazy wait was reflected on the bill at the end so they get a star back for that but it felt more owed than a kind gesture, I've got no reason to come back over the very nearby Bait Shop and Herb & Bitter who both all but guarantee a better time, food, drinks, and cost.

My favorite general bar in Capitol Hill. Corvus has a dark, moody, occult vibe that's a joy to relax in. One of the best atmospheres of any local bar. You can tell from the bottle collection that they prioritize interesting and bold flavors with their limited space: no matter what your favorite spirit is, they probably have some of your favorites. As a rum aficionado, it's so rare to see a bar that prioritizes Weid, Interesting Rums (like Uruapan and Marinique rums) over your mainstays. You usually have to go to rum bar or tiki bar for bottles like that!
The menu's creative and interesting: the drinks are all combinations of novel, unique flavors that you wouldn't think of on your own. The staff are knowledgable, excellent bartenders who contribute their own creative concoctions to the rotating menu. Come in from time to time to see what's changed!
The owner's also great and plenty approachable. Overall, can't recommend Corvus enough!
