We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back to our hotel after visiting the space needle. Went in at about 9:30 PM nice atmosphere. We ordered some pasta and beverages. The pasta was delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

Friends and I had dinner at this restaurant on September 27. We had a reservation, but the staff seemed clueless about what was happening. We were quickly seated, but the service was slow. To make matters worse, there were multiple bugs crawling on the wall near our table. The food itself was disappointing. We ordered three pasta dishes, pizza, and meatballs. Later that evening, I ended up getting food poisoning, which I suspect was from the meatballs since I barely touched my pizza. Another person in my party also fell ill, sharing my appetizer of meatballs. Overall, our experience was quite terrible, and we’ll definitely be avoiding this place in the future.

Simply delighted with our experience at Cotto Belltown. Our servers, Enes and Yagmur, were professional, efficient, and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our experience was the absolute best. HIGHLY recommend.

We had a reservation inside for four at 7:30 today- honestly everything we ordered other than the burrata and meatballs was a 2/10 :( we had high hopes! The brisket pasta had very little flavor to it and it was pretty much a soup. The carbonara had a lot of onion?? (We asked the server to check if there was onion and didn’t hear back but pretty positive it was a lot of onion) in it and so little guanciale- simply did not taste like carbonara. It was sad. The server was kind and lovely though! But I would not spend $250 here.
We had the watermelon salad and it was amazing!!! Pizza was great and the ragu. The tiramisu was outstanding!!! Melt in the mouth yum!!!!

Very disappointing but I think my expectations were a little high. I love Italian and this wasn’t it.
Walking in, I was greeted after while with “I didn’t see you”. From there, I was handed a dirty menu and chose the pasta al vodka.
The sauce was a bit watered down and the burrata had a rubbery texture. Towards the end of the meal, the server quickly asked “how’s the pasta?”. Although I came alone, I wasn’t completely alone. A couple ants, fruit flies, and a spider ran by.
At the end of the meal, the server handed me the handle held pos to close my tab and walked away.

The pasta was wonderful and the atmosphere cozy but the rest of the experience was not great. The server was very kind but was clearly understaffed, we were sat at a dirty table (the tablecloth was stained with food from another patron), the pizza was undercooked which was disappointing because we were very excited about it. We also were told there was no indoor seating (the resturant was empty) and then spent a long part of the meal waiting for the server to bring new wine glasses because fruit flies kept landing in ours. Lots of potential here, hope some changes can help make it better.

I visited Cotto for my birthday. The restaurant was nice and the food was good. However, the service felt a bit off that day. I had to ask multiple times for simple things like my drink and salt and pepper. Birthdays come once a year, and I wish the staff had been more attentive, but overall it was still a nice place with good food

Pasta was 8.5/10
Focaccia was a little dry, seemed like was not fresh. 5/10
Service was not the best. Very robotic and not friendly.
I would go back to eat the pasta for sure...but that is it.

Very nice pasta! And we had an inventive watermelon salad that was creative (it had cucumber and balsamic also).
Kind of noisy restaurant, even when few people were within. The open air kitchen, music, and people talking bounce off the hard surfaces and made it so I had to raise my voice to be heard by friends at the table.

OMG!!! As a professional baker and bakery owner, the pizza crust was awesome. The pasta and fruit dishes had the best textures. As someone who enjoys a meal with multiple dimensions this is a great experience. You totally cannot go wrong with the customer service, flavors and distinction of this place. OMG!!!
