I've been to Vietnam, eaten tons of pho, and this is by a WIDE margin the best pho I've ever had. My friends all got the Bun Bo Hue which was insane. Couldn't recommend it more. Nicole and Chap are funny as hell, too.
This place has my favorite veggie pho. It's so good, so fast, so nourishing. Super reasonably priced. Their chili oil is AMAZING. Can't recommend enough. The owner is super nice as well.
Vegetarian options: Veggie pho and tofu banh mi both excellent, this is the spot :+)

The pho at this place is definitely a 3/10 not worth the money. $16 plus for pho and most of what they give are noodles ? no thank you. I am not coming back unfortunately too expensive for what they give you.

I thought they permanently changed the noodles to thick ones and was pretty upset, BUT you can actually just ask for thin ones. Kinda weird the thick noodles are the default and the menu doesn’t mention choosing thick or thin noodles.. BUT ANYWAY, the pho is definitely the best I’ve had in Cap Hill. Such flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. Definitely come support this place because you can tell the owner put his heart and soul into his restaurant!

Cranes landing is consistent, affordable, and delicious. The staff and owner are friendly and community oriented. More than once I’ve been dining in and the owner has reached out to houseless community members to ensure they were ok and asked if they wanted food or drinks. They don’t need to do this but understand that maintaining relationships and offering basic human decency is the right thing to do.
