Really good frosting, good crumb, good flavors. A touch pricy but really good.

Used to be my favorite. Many cupcake shops to choose from. Come from out of state, so always go to CupCake Royale!
Well, used to.
Used to love happy hour. Buy 3, 3 free -right before closing. Last time was told after 6:15 No more. Went min prior to closing tonight. They had about 10 regular cup cakes, 10 vegan/gluten free.
Was told “no more happy hour” unless they “have a lot left”.
6:48, closing at 7:00pm. Huh.
Well maybe they expected a herd of people with munchies.
Paid full price.
With tip over $6.00 for a cupcake that sat around all day.
But really? 12 min until closing.
It is usually the same sales person
True? No more happy hour? Darn.
Disappointed..

The MARGARITA cupcake was a masterpiece, and quite possibly the best cupcake i will ever eat. The cake part, which was lemon flavor, was the perfect physical equivalent of the image that appears in my mind when I think of a cupcake - light, soft, airy, delicious - like eating a cloud that was turned into cake! The icing was the perfect, sweet, thick complement to this, with the perfect amount of sweetness (not TOO much). I would give this cupcake 6 stars if that was possible, and I will remember it forever!

My absolute FAVORITE GF cupcake! I get a few every time I’m visiting Seattle. My friends who eat gluten also love their regular cupcakes. Friendly service and great coffee as well!

Ordered from here once, 3 yrs ago. Now it seems like I'll be getting spam email from them for the rest of my life. Impossible to unsubscribe. I get emails weekly and I no longer live in the area. Please stop sending me emails.

I love the Cap Hill location. Really friendly and helpful people. The store is cute with a lot of fun party stuff. It's exactly what I want when buying cupcakes.

It's really unfortunate that the cost -cutting has reached the cupcakes I have loved for over 15 years. They look like they are half the size that they used to be. They used to barely fit in the box, they were so big.

I'm glad they still taste as delicious as ever, but it makes it difficult to justify the purchase. I'm grateful to have known Cupcake Royale at its peak, and hope to see it there again.

10 am is never too early for a treat! Treat yo self don’t cheat yo self to this chocolate banana cupcake. This beauty consists of a chocolate chip banana cake with a creamy icing topped with a chocolate shell and banana chip. I’d do it again.

The taste of cardboard seems to be a common theme here.
