Tried coming in for brunch on a Sunday morning. Arrived 1 hour after it opened (11:00AM)... just to be turned away because we didn't have a reservation. When I looked this restaurant up, I saw no mention of a reservation. Their Instagram page LITERALLY SAYS NO RESERVATIONS. Anyways it looks like we won't be trying this place ever. Thanks!

You go from afar and the person in front tells you to wait 20 minutes 😡 having tables available, not recommended, that was my experience so as not to return you have to be better sure of what they recommend 😡😡

Came here with some friends. The food was delicious, and the margaritas were excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a night out. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid choice for good Mexican food and drinks—I’d definitely go back!

A small but beautifully decorated restaurant with elevated fare. Patio seating was nice, indoor seating seemed a bit tight. Everything I had was delicious, service from the apparent manager was stronger than our main server, but it was definitely pretty busy when I went. The queso fundido was top notch.

The Huarache and Tacos we're good. The Queso Fundido was pretty underwhelming, especially since we were not served the salsa platter that every other table was given. Which was disappointing to experience as a first time visitor.

Food was excellent. Really really good. But worst service I have ever experienced. We were at a small two-top. We had two appetizers. We ordered three dishes to share. They all came out at the same time. They took the plates we had for the appetizers then and we had no plates. We asked for plates . We got one plate. It was all up to us to figure out what to do. Manolo was zero help. We asked for togo boxes for the appetizers which we put on the bench seat next to us to make some room on the table. We improvised with one of us using the one plate we were given and the other adopting the serving plate for the Chiles en Nogada which, by the way, excellent. But really? Should we have had to do any of this?

Manolo did not check back as to whether we wanted a second round. (We did.) When we finally flagged him down and asked to see the winelist he just left it on the table after taking the order. When we were more than ready to leave, we waited 20 minutes while Manolo chatted with the table next to us before FINALLY coming over and checking us out.

I'm looking at the rave reviews and am wondering Really? You all like this? The food is excellent. We will try it one more time not on a Friday or Saturday and will go earlier. But really overall despite the great food not a wonderful experience and not sure we will ever return.

The best Mexican food we've had in Seattle. The service was exceptional and on a whole different level. Highly recommend, especially coming from someone who dines out frequently.

I love this place honestly but today 09/01/2024 , my husband and I ate an asada doraditos and asada huarache and when we arrived at home the food makes feel bad and pain in our stomachs. I drew out one time and I have been feeling needing going to the bathroom and my husband also had to be at the bathroom for all ready 4 times ???. I’m not sure if the asada meat quality was not as always or something but I suggested to keep high standards as always. We really love to have a lunch there or dinner.

I was conflicted on writing this review but thought it would be best to get out there. Pending a response from the owner, I will happily remove.
I went to D' La Santa around 8pm on Tuesday 5/3 with my partner and our friend couple. The food was delicious and we were carried away in conversation until closing. There was a table still seated in our periphery and we were oblivious to the time. When the music turned off we immediately noticed the table in the corner was all staff and we were the last ones in the restaurant. Embarrassed we apologized multiple times and asked for the check. As we were waiting for the check, someone began to flip the lights on and off above our table until we received and signed the check... and stood up. I left a 25% tip and wanted to believe it was just a fluke but as soon as we walked away, the light came back on and the table of staff laughed. It left a terrible feeling with us as we had no intention of overstaying our welcome. A simple delivery of the check earlier on... or a friendly heads up would have been more professional and kind. I know the action of one individual does not speak for the entire restaurant and again, the food was wonderful. This just was not okay.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Seattle! Higher end so the pricing is a bit more than your normal taco truck but so worth it! We loved the pollo asado and the short ribs - our favorites from the plate. It says the dish feeds 3 but my party of 3 had leftovers for lunch the next day! Our server was friendly and I liked the decor inside the restaurant. Definitely would come back and order again, but I’ll bring a 4th person!
