We got the buffet because we had a flight and there was barely any food. Had to wait about 15 mins for eggs. The food was cold that was available. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.

Host and hostess were great! Lisa was very helpful with our reservation. The food was ok, but would go back for cocktails in the bar

The ambiance was nice, but the menu was very limited, and the waiter serving our table was not polite. I wouldn’t want to come back.

They make you pay for food you didn't order, workers are unorganized, tried getting a manager and they are off setting tables. Wasn't worth the downtown surcharge.

Michelle provided outstanding service from the moment we arrived. She was kind, attentive, and went the extra mile to ensure my food allergies were carefully managed, double-checking everything with the kitchen. Her attention to detail and warm attitude made the entire experience safe and enjoyable. Thank you for going above and beyond!

We had our wedding reception hosted at Alder & Ash in the Alder room and it was great! The Event Manager was super responsive before/ after the event and helpful especially since we had one guest with some dietary restrictions. We were there during their weekend brunch time with a party of 16. The service was quick, nice, and regularly checking in on us. The food and drinks were delicious. We even ended up staying longer and utilizing the bar in Alder & Ash.

Visited Alder & Ash for a dinner date with two friends on a Wednesday night.
Overall the experience was mediocre; It wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the hype.
The ambiance was lovely--modern yet cozy, with a great atmosphere for a date night or small gathering. However, the lighting was a bit too bright per my friends.
The staff--very attentive, almost overly so, with the server seeming to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder. We felt a bit rushed, to be honest, not sure why as it was a slow Wednesday night.
As for the food-- the presentation was impressive, and the menu had some unique options, but for the price point, I was expecting better. Some of the dishes we tried were the following:
Salmon Caviar Tots- Absolutely delicious, highly recommend. (Pics attached)
Cauliflower Dip- Delicious, which says a lot as I hate cauliflower. You couldn't even taste it.
Selection of Oysters- All delicious.
Penne alla Arrabiata- Beautifully plated but fell short on flavor. Bland, evoking boxed dinner vibes. Reminded me of a Lean Cuisine.
Alder/Ash Burger- Delicious
it's
Price you may ask? Well for a party of three with 2 glasses of wine and tip. We paid 80 each. Pricey if you ask me, but hey its Seattle.
Overall, it's a nice spot with potential, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. I might give it another try in the future, hoping for a more consistent experience.

Ordered the Alder and Ash breakfast. Food came so fast and was not piping hot suggesting it was repurposed or ? Service was inattentive. I asked for help getting coffees refilled and the server said okay. Then avoided eye contact repeatedly. Ten minutes later they were unilaterally closing me out. I had to then appeal for a refill and she said “sure” . Bright lights big city. Update: when I asked for the code to the bathroom they said it’s only for customers!

I had an issue with my entree and our server and the manager handled the situation extremely well and replaced it immediately. Our server James was OUTSTANDING!

My food was very good. The wait time (I had a reservation) was good. I ordered and asked for specific adjustments to my meal. The server didn’t write anything down. The adjustments weren’t made. However, the food was still very good.

Great craft cocktails and delicious appetizers! The service was also 5 star. Our waiter provided helpful information about menu options and checked in frequently throughout our time there. I would highly recommend Alder & Ash.

Had a great anniversary dinner here! Our server Michelle was very kind, prompt, and gave great advice for food and wine pairings. Ordered the waygu burger, chopped spring salad, cheesecake, and wine - would recommend the burger with a glass of their Dunham red blend.
