Worst experience I’ve had at Daniel’s. I regular the Bellevue location and this location was very underwhelming. The service and hospitality was not up to the standards I’m used to at the Bellevue location. It may be that my server has trouble hearing, but I caught myself having to say everything 3x just to be heard. On top of missing food, not attentive, putting plates down very quickly and abrupt clashing the other plates and utensils around, instead of moving things accordingly, had my card and wallet sitting on the edge of the table for about 10 minutes as I didn’t see my waiter, so I asked another waitress, which said he’d get my server for me which took another 6 minutes. 16 minutes to find my waiter on a slow Wednesday night just to check out. I love Daniel’s but I would never come back to this location again

Everything was as expected - good food, high prices. The parking was a bloody nightmare. Will not return because of the parking.

Beautiful dining room with fireplaces.

I sat at the bar - it took awhile before the bartender came over to ask me if I needed anything, no one was there but another couple.

I had the Caesar salad and the spicy bbqed prawns. Salads was okay, and the prawns were in this sweet, tomato sauce - not spicy at all, not bbqed, and it had cinnamon in it, yuck! Very weird. $18 salad, $24 app.

Then the bartender stayed at the hostess stand on the other side of the partition and at the end of the bar, standing on the client side, talking to the wait staff. 5 minutes after I finished, I had to wave him over so I could pay.

THEN - the receipt says 20% gratuity is automatically added and given to the company so they can provide a living wage for their staff —WTH! lame service, mediocre food, high prices, and then auto gratuity. Over $55 without alcohol, I drank tap water!!

Not ever going back there, you should ‘t either.

I’m a sucker for Wisconsin cheese curds, delicious! Being vegetarian the salad and side of broccoli was perfect and filling. Our server was professional and showed good humor. Server packaged our extra food in a classy to-go bag. I’ll be back!

The food left a lot to be desired, and it was weird that they added an additional 20% service charge. When I asked the bartender he said it's because Seattle is trying to get restaurants to pay employees a living wage. I know the revenue has to come from somewhere. It was just weird to see on my bill. I still tipped, the bartender was super accommodating and made me a fantastic Manhattan

Molly was great, very personable and really nice. The food was great. We would come here just for Mollys customer service alone (you don’t really get that a lot nowadays)…Thank you for a great night!

I went out to eat knowing that I was going to bring home most of my dinner. After telling the bartender that I wanted to take my food home, another server took my meal and apparently tossed it. They offered me another glass of wine for free, but I’d already had my limit of wine as I was driving home. I felt like I had to push to get one of my drinks comped. I ate one third of my $80 filet and they could care less and offered me teriyaki steak or a steak sandwich. Sorry, that is not the same. Aside from the amazing bartender, what a disappointing evening….and I’m still hungry (yes chef 👏)

The service was predictably excellent. They seated us early as we arrived about 20 minutes prior to the reservation and were very attentive. My beer glass was never empty (until we were done), food came out quickly and the wait staff was not overly present even though the restaurant was fairly empty. The one thing about the seating arrangement was that I was seated along a wall that had no view of the water, although when we were sat the other tables were available. Not sure if they had better views. My companion expressed that his filet was very good, and was cooked to his liking. My New York did not appear to be trimmed properly, was overly chewy in sections and was fat throughout. I usually have a good experience with the steaks, but it has been some time since I've had a New York strip in the restaurant. From this experience I would not order this cut again there.
