We decided to stop by for drinks on a Thursday night. It was open mic night and there were ample amounts of people getting up to play/sing. The food wasn't great but the atmosphere, drink prices, staff, and the overall vibes were fantastic.

Dan and his lovely crew have made Darrel’s one of the best places to play and see music. We’ve been playing shows there since he’s owned it—we celebrated our 20th bandi anniversary, I celebrated my 50th birthday there with my most favorite bands and one of my bands, and it’s really one of the most special venues in the area. Here’s to many more years of being part of the rich musical tradition and history of our city. 🩷🩷🩷

I took my review down because I thought the issue was resolved, but you guys will not turn this music down. I should not be able to hear it from across the street at my apartments. I don't know why it needs to be this loud. You are a hole in the wall bar, not the Coachella festival.
