The taste was good but I felt quantity is very little for the price. Fries were a little disappointing, no salt at all.

Food was great. Best Japanese curry I've had in Seattle by a long shot. And not too expensive. Bring a sweater though because they keep it cold in there

Ordered the spicy chicken katsu sando, too much sauce! The chicken itself was juicy.

If you're having Japan withdrawals this place may help. They offer limited menu using chicken katsu either with curry or as a sando. Wash it all down with the COLDEST Sapporo draft beer in a iced mug.

Was very excited to try this place however was very disappointed.

Chicken katsu curry rice: I don’t know where to start. The chicken katsu came with the skin and batter completely detached from the meat. The meat was tender which was a redeeming quality. The rice was bad it was clumpy. Hard. The curry sauce was nothing special but the shaved cabbage was good

Ebi sandwich: was decent

Spiced fries: way too much spice to the point it was too salty and overpowering.

You order at the kiosk tablet and bus your own table.
Ample free street parking.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The utensils were extremely dirty, seemingly not washed and only wiped with a paper towel, with heavy grease remaining. This raises serious concerns about cleanliness, especially since children dine here. The food was overly salty and nothing special. I plan to report this to the appropriate authorities and hope the restaurant takes hygiene seriously.

My friend and I had really high hopes for this place because we love Japanese sandwiches and everything on the menu looked good. However, all the food we got was pretty disappointing or mid at best.

The takoyaki were undercooked. The fries arrived lukewarm, dry, and not hot or crispy. Both our sandwiches were entirely too wet with mayo. This soaked through the toasted bread and made eveythting mushy. My beef patty sandwich was hard to eat, because it was like a giant meatloaf ball surrounded by bread that was falling apart around it. The potato salad was ok flavor-wise, but more like cold mashed potatoes than potato chunks. We were told the spicy chicken is good so maybe if we come back we'll get that or the curry dish. I can't imagine ordering anything again that we ate today. Everything tasted kind of samey and bland, punctuated by the katsu sauce, which was the dominant flavor on 3 of the 5 items.

Prices seemed affordable at first but I got one sandwich, 2 sides, and a drink for $30. And that was with a combo deal of sandwich + drink + side. Not worth it imo.

If you want good Japanese potato salad then head to Nana's green tea downtown.

Service was helpful though and both the eating area and bathroom was clean. Also no blasting loud music, which is always good in my book.

Average American Japanese Katsu Sando. Good for a quick bite if nearby. Sando has too much sauce. Popcorn chicken has a noticeable flavor of the marinated sauce.
