This cake is UNBELIEVABLE! It takes me a little over an hour to get here on the bus...but I will make that trek for this cake 🫡 It's the sort of thing you eat and then pause to swear quietly under your breath because you realize this is the only cake you'll ever want from now on! London Fog is the OG, but I always await their seasonal flavors with baited breath. I also love their ride or die stance on cream cheese frosting! Buttercream can suck it!

Cake you could bring to a party and have it be a massive hit. The staff is amazing, and the cake is delicious. I've been going here since before their move, and the new location is beautiful. You won’t be disappointed. Also, the pricing is really fair for what they’re serving

Bakery offering by the slice and whole cakes, along with cupcakes. We tried a few slices and found them to be very good - not too sweet as would be a traditional American bakery.

REALLY GOOD CAKE!!!!! A little spendy but worth every bite.

Best cake shop! Have a slice in store or take it home!

I came here having just saw it from the street and was interested to try. First off, the staff were very kind, great customer service. I opted for their lemon cake slice and was aghast at the price of 11$ per slice. I figured it would be the best thing I've ever tasted. It literally tasted like the smallest portion of yesterday's cake crammed full of basic frosting mixed with cool-whip and your most basic lemon extract. It might have been the specific cake flavor that fell short, but for 22 dollars I was not willing to experiment any further on another flavor.

I can’t understand why staff would lock the door, sit behind it and blatantly ignore every customer that attempted to enter or call. I recommend writing a sign since the door says open.

I felt I really lucked out when I found this treasure in Georgetown and began to frequent it, then they moved into a better location even more ecstatic. My first issue is I bought several cake slices that they doubled up and unfortunately 1 went bad and 2 of my slices had to be thrown away. The cashier was a Yt male with a funky hair cut he was pretty rude but a manager stepped in and gave me a slice. Second and last encounter was for my daughter's birthday, they told me I couldn't do a pre-order I had missed the deadline but I could come in and had to be basically first in line to purchase a cake. My partner made it there first thing before anyone once inside they told him I had to pre-order the day of and that all the cakes were sold. I was devastated. I asked how many slices were in the cake they stated 10 I said we'll for the inconvenience and misinformation can I just buy 10 slices at the full cake price. The lady rudely said NO, you can get 8 slices at cost for each. It's my daughter's birthday we are anticipating sing happy birthday with friends who wouldn't be joining us at the fair. Basically that was the last straw, I loved being able to drop in and grab a space, but you dint gotta tell me twice my business is not appreciated. Luckily we found another bakery who had cakes on hand, were delicious and moist. This whole ordeal put us behind schedule and somethings were left undone ! Shame on you deep sea sugar and salt

Great cake and people! Most importantly, if you park in the pay lot, PAY THE PARKING RATE. It's a predatory $75.50 parking fee if you don't, and there is somebody for Diamond Parking who sits and waits. We were in-and-out in less than 5 minutes and got the ticket, so please learn from my mistake!

We used Deep Sea Sugar and Salt for our wedding cake and it was phenomenal. My husband likes a plain vanilla cake with plain vanilla frosting cake but I was hesitant about choosing that for our wedding because I didn’t want it to be boring. But marriage is about compromise so we went with the Vanilla Bean Custard cake and OMG IT WAS THE BEST CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. It was neither plain nor boring and I seriously cannot put into words how delicious it was. Deep Sea Sugar and Salt is the only place I ever want to eat cake from again.

We added the option to put gold leaf and a personal message and it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend using this place for all of your cake needs. I am beyond excited to go buy some slices of other types because this is my new favorite place to go for sweets.

The love hate relationship is still going strong!

Second or Third time at their new location and I will say aside from loving that they have such a pretty place, they also have a pick up window, a little more parking (though we had difficulty the last time we were here) It might be me BUT I thought there slices of cake did get just a little fatter *gasp* I know right

So we ordered a few slices (waaaaay too many) but they even had the Kunafa cake (that I woke up early to pre order) available when we got there since online it was marked sold out (yay last two slices)

Kunafa Cake (yes that viral chocolate pistachio concoction that I think they call it Kadayif Pistachio Chocolate Cake) 5/5 its everything you hope it to be, but be warned it is so very chocolatey that I could only have a few bites, kinda wished the ganache was less but absolutely worth it

Lemon Cream 5/5 One of my favorites cakes from Deep Sea, it’s a staple for a reason

Calamsi Pistachio Cream 5/5 Lemon cake and pistachio ganache I mean… you CANNOT ask for anything more, I love their olive oil based cakes and it fit in perfectly with the flavors swirling in this cake. YUM!

Are the cakes good? Yes. But are they 11$ a slice good or 30mins line up good? Absolutely no. It's just like flourbox donuts, decent food but with Michelin star price and hype. I guess this is Seattle normal.

Deep Sea Sugar and Salt. What a cute place (tucked away) just off airport way in Seattle. This place has such nice bakery staff. But let me share what you really want to know about THE CAKE!! I just love dense yet super MOIST cake. The frosting which was cream cheese is perfectly sweetened (and comes with no head rush ) it's the kind of frosting you can eat by itself even. Like wow!!! We took home two different slices of cake: Chocolate Oreo and Lemon Creme. The Chocolate Oreo was hands down my favorite of the two! But the Lemon can definitely hold its own as well so don't be misled. The slices aren't cheap at $11 but we already knew the cost prior to going. Once you taste it and don't fall victim to a sugar rush that leads to an awful headache the cost just fades away. It's definitely worth a visit, take your girl here for an after dinner treat or surprise your hubby with a slice or better yet treat yourself 😉 . I will be back I have more cakes to try!

Kid-friendliness: Ample seating, ADA compliant, casual atmosphere, well -lit, friendly patient bakery staff.
