Had been going for a year and loved the food, service, vibes, etc. Just went and was charge $12 for pool which is absurd (and not listed anywhere) and then was told there was nothing to do about it after we paid. Sucks losing a favorite spot, but that's ridiculous.

The bar is very nice, the food is surprisingly delicious for bar food. We ordered a burger with blue cheese that was super delicious and a beef sandwich that was also very delicious.

Our meal was good. The beer was good. Service was good.
I’m so happy I found this place a few months ago, I’ve been coming back every couple of weeks for a burger and a beer when I need a nice walk and a chill spot to eat dinner. The beer selection is great, I like how they prepare the burgers with a really good bun and ingredients, and the atmosphere is relaxing, cozy and comfortable.

Deluxe is a local staple since it has been here for decades. It’s got a lot of neighborhood charm that you won’t find in many places. The staff are all nice, the location is in a more laid back part of Cap Hill, and the food is mostly excellent. Some of my favorite items include anything with their house made carnitas, their burgers, and the fruity pebble pancakes. A couple items I’ve had such as the Cajun prawn fettuccine or Mel’s special off the brunch menu could use a little more flavor for my taste.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of options
Dietary restrictions: Seems like they’d cater to them well
Parking: Sometimes hard in the neighborhood, lots of hills

Nice place for brunch, decent happy hour. Hot honey chicken biscuits and Mac n cheese with Bleu cheese are really good.
