THIS WAS PERFECT! I surprised my car loving boyfriend with this date and he LOVED IT! We got brunch and they sat us right next to the window which felt so special since i had reserved ahead of time. Then we got to do the tour right after and got to see all the ins and outs of the shop AND take pictures for the mems. 100/10 highly recommend
If you are looking for good food in SODO and an interesting place for lunch / dinner this is your place. The food is always high quality and I love the service. Sometimes they may be a bit understaffed but look at the interesting cars and take your time. Try the meat loaf, I think it's a great dish.
Went for brunch on Saturday & it was surprisingly not busy. Two people at the table got the benne & I got the breakfast tacos. Both were seriously delicious. Highly recommend anything with that bacon.
Very deep brunch menu. Food was very good. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were kind of crazy for brunch then again where isn't . Would recommend and will go again.
The Derby was great! Loved the cars and atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the food. A great place for brunch in Seattle!
Cool cars ..it was really neat concept and I hope to have a car parked in building in the future .. great place
Three is the lowest I go, usually.
This was an unusual experience.
Our service started with day staff, who was nothing short of excellent. We watched the new shift arrive, our person 'tap out,' and a change of demeanor appear.
Early in Happy Hour window, we ordered 2 HH Burgers, one $6 beer, and a $7 well cocktail. Waited quite a while for the bill. I caught new staff's attention once they realized they had 3-4 orders waiting. The tab is ~2× expected. I mention this, and what we had, but they could not remember 4 items.
One gal taking control 'fixed' our tab, gave us credit for something, comped something else, and we were still overcharged by half... I paid as a tax just to avoid an additional episode of how generous they were being.
Willing to return in 3 weeks to 6 months, but, if we see these Divas again, we ain't staying.
Three waitresses and three other customers it took 15 minutes to get a table. I place an order for a BLT which arrived quickly. Unfortunately it was missing the egg which I had ordered; I took forever to find a waitress because they were busy flirting with other customers and just standing around. Finally asked about my egg and they offered to remake it. 10 minutes later my plate returned: they had an egg on it, but they're extra thick bacon was completely Frozen in the middle and completely raw around the edges. I hope I don't get food poisoning. I asked for an affogato but apparently none of the three bimbos knew how to make. I watched them add a shot of Sprite to the top of the ice cream and coffee. It tasted about as good as you'd expect. I demanded to have the 3% service charge removed from my bill because the service and kitchen staff are completely incompetent. $50 for the displeasure of raw bacon.
Derby is our preferred spot for pre-game breakfast and lunch when possible! The food is delicious, huge portions (many can be split between 2, specifically the salads!). Staff are welcoming and accommodating for diet needs when possible. Highly recommend!
Kristy is the reason we eat at The Derby. She is THE BEST bartender and knows her customers like no other place in Seattle.
The atmosphere with her is like home, and food is really delicious.

Fun restaurant to be at. Everyone was really friendly, food and drinks were great, would definitely go back
Great Place for Gear-heads. An amazing collection of cars and bikes. Food would have been amazing if the restaurant was open.
Sadly no heads up was given online regarding the private event. The long trip down from Singapore was worth it though, for the cars.
Kind gentleman at the counter offered a free tour to make up for the inconvenience.
Will be back to try the food.
Got the happy hour burger. It was very plain, no toppings no condiments. The burger was tasteless and you can tell it was frozen. The cars are the only upside here.
This was a fun brunch place to surprise my husband with. I loved being able to make a reservation in advance since we all know how busy places can be in Seattle. Parking was free and easy to access. The service was good, but the view of the cars in while we were eating tasty breakfast food was wonderful. I can't wait to show more friends this place.
LOVED our experience!! Got the best seat in the house, my husband was so thrilled. Thank you 🙏
