This place is fantastic! Great German beers on tap (actually from Germany) and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Go there!

A Great great hangout with german beer on tap, pretzel, soup, bratwurst, and more. You can even watch the game. This place has it all.

The bartender was mean. I started asking a question about their beers but was cut off mid-sentence and told, in a rude tone, to either look up at the board or down on my phone to see the beers. There was no patience or basic courtesy, and their attitude made us feel unwelcome.

The beer itself was delicious, but the service alone was enough to ruin the experience and I wouldn’t return. I do not recommend this place.

Staff was a bit mean with us at first, I think they were stressed by others when we showed up but then service got better. Great place to hangout and have a beer. Pretzels are delicious.

Keith and Gretchen. Ask for Keith and Gretchen.

I first thought this place was just a nice place for beer. Turns out their food is actually amazing. Keith, the manager came over and spoke with us and told us about the new chef and how they are trying to revitalize. 10/10!

We had not been here in a while. The menu had good variety. I wanted a braut and a beer. Beer selection was very good and I found a lighter dark lager. The braut was disappointing because it was smothered in ketchup and mustard and just too much. Get the condiments on the side. And the beet salad was same with way too much dressing on it so get that on the side too. There was an onion dish, slaw and sauerkraut which were pretty good. The bun was also toasted and my preference would be not so crunchy and hard to eat. Delaney was our server and was outstanding. She was friendly and personable and attentive. Not too many choices for German north of the city but won’t be back for a while. No happy hour is not man incentive. Parking is a pain. Prices were on the high side. We were there around 4pm in a weekday so very few people or noise. They do allow dogs inside so I think that is a plus.

Don't mess with the classic Seattle Dog. Also, my table didn't care for the tweaks to classic German food either, though they found their dishes edible, I didn't. The service was good--really prompt and attentive. The prices were ok and the portions decent. A couple of us were satisfied with our food, and the rest of the table was left disappointed. I understand that a lot of pubs/restaurants are trying to make their dishes unique, but certain German dishes don't need fixing, and neither does the Seattle Dog. I was excited to have it with a brat, but the brat was just barely warm, the cream cheese had been replaced with a meager amount of something more like a lime crema (??!!) and the onions were sparse.

The waitstaff here was so rude that it honestly became comical to us. I’ve never seen anything like it elsewhere in Seattle and that’s saying something. The radler on tap ruled, the beer was good, but the food was overcooked and low quality. But even if the food was amazing, I’d never come back to be the subject of the waitstaff’s passive aggressive bitterness. Go to therapy folks!

Not as good as I remember unfortunately. Beer was still good but my pretzel was stale and the cheese seemed diluted.

Tomato basil soup was really good. Still a solid place for a drink or 2.
