I wouldn't normally leave a negative review but I just wanted others to be aware - I had the chicken fried steak, which is one of my favorites other places but here I'm not sure what cut of meat they used. It was really red and salty (kinda like corned beef) but had the texture of a ham steak. Nothing on the menu indicated that it would be anything other than the standard (which is cube steak) and I couldn't eat more than a few bites of it because it was NOT good. :( the eggs and potatoes were good though! But don't come here if you're looking for a classic chicken fried steak.

We found the Dish Cafe on a whim. We ordered Chicken fried steak, Slacker, and the Eggs Benedict. We were not disappointed. It was all delicious! Our waiter was friendly and efficient.

Had the Reuben Sandwich, added avocado for $3.50, which I was fined with.
Their coffee is $4.50, which is fine also, just a bit on the high side.

What I was surprised, is I asked for a side of ranch for the sandwich, and they charge me $2.50 for about 1 oz of that.

If that's how they charge customers, my next business will be elsewhere.

My family and I were visiting Fremont, and we’re looking for a breakfast place that was suitable for my dad who was ADA in a mobility scooter. This place is great, even though it’s small, they have an outside patio, which was able to accommodate my dad’s scooter.

I must give a shout to the staff who are amazing at being attentive and taking care of us. The food was very delicious and hit the right spots on our family trip. Looks can be deceiving, it may be small, but it is mighty.
The only thing that sucks is that the bathroom is in the main restaurant which has one step up and cannot accommodate a scooter.

There is also plenty of parking upfront next to the street.

Food was ok. I ordered the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Had it numerous times other places but here it tastes a lot different. Not what I was expecting. Atmosphere was nice and quiet.

Good food, locally sourced, and large servings.
The staff is really kind and the atmosphere is chill. 10/10 would do it again.
