Milk tastes weird in milk brown sugar drink. 100 % sugar for Thai tea had no sweetness. The expensive macaroons tasted like nothing. Mango Sago was not very good either

Ordered the white peach oolong milk tea with light ice and half sugar with boba and the drink had so much milk in it and so little peach flavor that it was like drinking whole milk that had been watered down. It was almost $8 too and had no oolong tea flavor and barely any white peach flavor. Boba was fine though. I wouldn’t go back even to try their other flavors because my drink was just overpriced and terrible.

the process of ordering from the touchscreen is unnecessarily complicated. when I inquired about the type of milk in the milk tea, I was told it was non-dairy, but the staff could not specify its ingredients. additionally, the tea itself lacked any flavor. needless go say, I will not be returning.

Their new straws are cheap and bend instead of going through the lid. Change them back!

On weekends this place is decent. But during off-peak hours, the tapioca balls are stale and disgusting, and this has happened multiple times now. Just don't go on weekdays. I only go here because it's the only bubble tea option in Ballard.
Wish they had a wintermelon milk tea.
Kiosk ordering is great and service is usually quick.

Been a DIY customer for some time and I did not know there was one in Ballard! The brown sugar milk tea is one of my go to, and seriously recommend it to anyone who comes here.
The longon honey black milk tea was fantastic. I did not know there were this many diy tea lab locations, but I'm not complaining at all because I go here all the time!!

Forgot to leave a review before I left Seattle but the longan milk tea with boba is to die for! I keep thinking about it which is how I remembered weeks later lol

This place takes 5-15 minutes to put syrups and pre made tea in a cup AND NOT EVEN MIX IT! I would rather drive to the u-w or I.d. to get good bubble tea.
