Came for drag brunch which was incredibly fun. Pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and NA cocktails! Definitely will be back.

Vegetarian options: I (a pescatarian) ordered the shrimp and grits and they were happy to leave out the sausage. I’m having the leftovers now and it’s phenomenal. Such a fun atmosphere too!

👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽We went for Sunday brunch (at 12:30 PM) for the first time ever at Dreamland, and enjoyed the friendly wait staff and festive atmosphere. While we made reservations, we probably didn’t need to as there were plenty of tables available for our party of 3.

It was mid-November and they already had their Xmas decorations up. The space is very bright and spacious which was great. They had numerous booths next to the windows. I’d request those in my reservation if I go back. You could have a conversation without screaming over the din of the dining room noise. We were seated at bar stool tables in the middle of the dining area so, if you don’t like that, you can request that in your reservations. Music and overall ambience was good.

🍳The food was average. I enjoyed my vegan dish (The Evergreen Forest) and would happily enjoy again, but my friends said their fried chicken with biscuits and gravy, and 2 eggs with toast, ham and hash browns were just OK. Not bad but not something they’d come back for.

That said, the best part of the meal was The Pimento Cheese Plate appetizer. It was a modernized version of the pimento cheese ball except this version featured sliced kielbasa sausage in a sweet and tangy sauce, deep fried saltines, sliced dill pickles and creamy homemade pimento cheese spread. Pile all of it on a saltine, and enjoy! They were delicious.

🚗If you go in a Sunday, parking is a nightmare so plan accordingly. It took 30 min. to find free street parking (& it’s far away). One of us took the bus and there’s a stop right a few blocks from the restaurant. Very easy.

🛍️This is bc the Fremont Market happens year-round on Sundays from 10 AM - 4 PM, and right next to Dreamland is a great vintage market (hypermarket) where you can find vintage clothes, home decor, jewelry and more. It’s great to browse while waiting for your seats.

I hosted an event of around 25 people in the patio for my birthday. The patio was had their iconic Halloween decor set up and it was fully covered and heated. The manager and staff were very attentive and flexible with our group. We all had a blast and I would definitely book the space again! Throughout the booking process they answered all of my questions and picked up all of my calls. The food and drinks were all amazing!

Walked in, wasn’t even moderately busy, waited at the door for a while since the sign said to wait for service, then walked to one of the many, many open tables, and were told that “we’re not a ‘walk in and grab a table type of place, go back and wait for a server’”. So we walked back 10 ft and the same person said they could seat us, so we left. Place absolutely sucks, but pretty strong Halloween decor.

We stood in the restaurant for literally 10 minutes to get a host to talk to us, two waiters walk passed by us. After 10 minutes they finally were about to talk to us and seat us, and then we let them know that this was not acceptable and left. If you want to eat/drink at a place which you need to spend at least 10min to start talking to a host, come here.

Edit: I’m okay to wait for seating, but I mean, no host in front for 10min? Nah there’s probably something can be improved. I actually talked to your staff later, and learned there were just 2 servers and 1 bartender. If I’m the owner, I’d have more staff or open less table

This place is always a pleasure to visit. The food is excellent, the staff is super friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautiful! Great decor every time of year, but especially Halloween! I’m happy to be a regular here. Lots of vegetarian food options too!!

It's tradition at this point to celebrate my birthdays at Dreamland and introduce as many people as I can, Seattleites and visitors alike, to this establishment! It's as dreamy as it sounds and has the best design and decor of any restaurant I've ever been to! It's dog-friendly btw!!!!

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I have never seen a restaurant go all the way out with decoration the way Dreamland does, not just inside but on the patio as well! Just so happens my birthday is in the fall so it's double the celebration at Dreamland! The themed drinks are amazing and an experience, given the way they're presented in unique, quirky, and clever glasses!

In my honest opinion, the atmosphere, decor, design, friendly and warm staff, and drinks definitely outshine the food. I stick to the starters because you can get full easily--especially the Mac and cheese dish and chicken tenders and fries--my absolute go-to's! Food is good but you really do go to Dreamland more for the vibes and everything I mentioned above.

I could go on and on about this place but it's best you see it for yourself!

***Something I wish I had known prior was there is a fee of $25 if you bring a cake to the restaurant due to health codes. But they will slice the cake for you and even decorate and provide a candle for the slice that goes to the birthday celebrant!

My friends and I visited Dreamland last night for my bday celebration, and it was a blast! The food was a perfect 10. The Halloween decorations and themed cocktails were impressive, especially the “'Scr*w You Frankenstein' drink?!” 😊 I loved the lights and overall atmosphere. I would definitely come back here in the future.
