I work for Amazon and I was trying to get one of my drivers out of the snow. Ended up delaying Kat who was trying to get to work so I offered to give her a ride after her car couldn’t make it through the ice.We get there and She showed me around the bar. Always a favorite, the bbq meats are excellent. We opted to dine in for the first time since the pandemic, usually ordering take out for Beer Star tap room next door. It’s “order at the bar” and seat yourself. The heater hasn’t been turned on, so the place was very cold, and the delivery drivers kept leaving the front door open making it even colder, as we continually got up to close the door behind them. But the food is great.
BBQ ribs was actually quite good, but the bartender was quite mean. I thought they were just having a bad day, but after reading other reviews, it seems like this particular one has been sassy toward other customers too. The other people working were polite, so I'm confused what the bartender's problem was. I would have ordered more to drink, but did not want to deal with the attitude of a moody teenager who hasn't discovered interpersonal skills.Restroom is neat.
