I love Dukes! Love their Dungeness crab and the shrimp. Salads are great too. What I don't love are the outdated bathrooms. I'm sure they're clean and taken care of but it's not what I'm thinking inside one because they don't look clean. Otherwise the best service always and the best food!!

Experience was solidly so-so. The hostess and server both seemed frazzled. We had a reservation and arrived on time, yet the hostess said she would “let us know how long the wait would be”. It wasn't long so ok. The cocktails were very good. The food was not great. Salad was good. Burger we ordered med-well came out very pink. Crab cakes were mushy. Our water glasses took 15 minutes to refill even after we asked for water. Overall I was disappointed in food and service, especially for the price.

Food was terrific! Just a bit cold in restaurant when we came in, if warmed up finally. Really enjoyed lunch with my friend!

I took some friends there for lunch. I had not been there for years. The first impression was that everything looked worn and well used. The wait staff was friendly and took good care of us and our special needs. I ordered fish tacos and surprised when it came out . The taco shells were larger and filled with a mayonnaise like oily dressing. The crispy shell started to fall apart and quickly turned in to a mess.. one friend ordered the Chowder, which he liked. My other friend ordered the Burger, which was OK. Basically I ended up spending $100 for a good time with friends and a not so good meal. I will not go back.

Gone downhill. Used to always eat here when visiting Greenlake. Not anymore! 25 dollars for a bite of crab. Asked if they had crab cocktail. Kind of wished I hadn’t. Paid a hefty price for chicken fingers that did not even come with fries.. food used to be great…. Now there are too many corners being cut and costs way to much for what you get. We will probably never eat here again. Not the waiters fault. He was very nice.

We love taking visitors to Dukes. Great vibes, good food, and a solid patio for outdoor dining at the Green Lake location. Feedback based on our 31-Mar-2024 visit (Easter Sunday): Sandwiches were delicious. Salmon pesto plate was tasty. We ate well but felt the food was overpriced (~$100 for 1x sandwich, 1x salmon plate, 1x Bloody Mary, and 1x non-alcoholic drink).

My first experience at Dukes was having the stuffed halibut. That was fabulous. I've also had the stuffed shrimp and stuffed salmon really excellent. This is the second time we have tried to come to Dukes for brunch. It's pretty awful. Nothing taste good. The hollandaise was pure lemon you couldn't taste any butter there wasn't any hint of cayenne. The English muffin wasn't good. The scones were hard and dry. The coffee was very bitter and burnt tasting. Strawberry and some grapes thrown into a bowl. It was not a good experience. We will not be back for any branches or any food other than your seafood.

Wonderful and attentive service. Very quaint and fun atmosphere, great for an evening get together with friends or a date. A little on the pricier side for the average dinner, which makes it better suited for a special event or night.Food is absolutely delicious, with generous servings of free bread and drink refills.Scallop Ravioli was INCREDIBLE. Very good portion, presentation, and taste! The breaded & fried salmon bites are also crazy good.

Service is 5 star hands down. The service is always great at the Greenlake location. They're dog friendly outdoors and are great to our pups. Or just for drinks, it's a great hangout place in the afternoon. But it's a different story when it comes to their food. This 2-star review is only for their food. I have been coming here for 1.5 years (and only for my dogs, not for their food). Their food is nowhere as good as their other location. I was never going to write a review for this place, but this last visit was the straw that broke the camel's back. I ordered the royal ranch burger melt and salmon bites. Their burger was sooooo tasteless. I was beyond belief that they didn't throw in anything simple and basic like garlic salt. Or even salt. Just sprinkle some salt on it yourself? Right, because I pay $22 for a burger so I can pour salt over it... I asked for medium, it came out well done. Comes with bacon in my burger you say? What bacon? It was completely missing. I was so disappointed with it, I just dipped my burger (or rather, a glorified, tasteless, greasy sandwich with hardened square sandwich bread) into ketchup, ranch, and the sauce that came with the salmon bites. I feel terrible for the grass-fed cow; what a waste of good meat. How was this dish supposed to taste? How yummy was it? I wouldn't know, because I'm never ordering it again. The salmon bites on the outside was soft, not crunchy like their other location. It was NOT like I ordered for takeout and brought it home and the crunch had fallen flat. The coating was like thin soft bread. I'm here thinking, why do I keep coming here if it wasn't for my dogs? The other location never has this problem. You know, now that I'm typing all this, I just wonder if the chef yesterday forgot to put seasoning in ANYTHING. The food I've got before had taste to it, but this time was just completely tasteless. Which made the whole greasiness of this dish that much more nauseating. Only thing that saved it were the sauces. I just left really dissatisfied... as I do every single time. But at least the other times the foods were sub-par. This time is was much less than. Was it necessary to write this review, not really. But I paid. I pay every time, never complain, and keep my negative comments to myself. I feel a bit like I should be able to voice my frustration and opinion about this place. I've just... idk... had enough of being lenient just because times are hard for all businesses. Regardless of whether or not it can compare to the other place, what is wrong with this place that their food is always so disappointing (with this last time, disappointment level just takes the cake)? The chef/fry cook? The quality of the food? Sigh. Smh.

Lovely lunch by Green Lake. The clam chowder was excellent with the clams chopped up smaller than we had experienced at other Dukes. The sourdough loaf was tasty and piping hot, which of course melted the butter just like we like it. The blackened salmon salad was generous and fresh. The salmon perfectly prepared and very generous size for the price.

We were seated promptly for our reservation time. However, once seated it took about 15 minutes to be recognized by a server and we had to ask someone for help. Once it was determined who our server was, she was very nice and took care of us. It did take until almost our dinner was over for us to get our bread.
