Half way between modern fast food and slightly hipster diner, Big Max Burger Co offers a sort of inbetween burger. Too good to be compared to any fast food chain, but not so good as to beat out what you can make pretty easily at home. The price reflects this. The burger is smaller than I expected for the price, and kinda dry despite having cheese, sauce, and avocado. The sour cream and onion seasoned fries are a great premise! But the result is kinda dry, though it does remain crisp even after travel! Also everything was undersalted, fries, sauce, and burger.Overall, I think my money is better spent elsewhere. But if it’s a sunny summer day and you’re walking along Queen Anne, a stop at Big Max Burger Co would make a pleasant but unremarkable lunch.Parking: Park under Trader Joe’s. Or just bus!

Smaller burger place, order through touch screen, reasonably priced. Loved that they had a falafel burger. The French fries were amazing. And the mustard aioli was definently a great condiment. Didn't like that the fountain drink machine was behind the counter so you had to ask for refills each time, but that is my only complaint.

Yo, if you're in the Queen Anne area and craving some local fast food, check out this cozy restaurant. Everything's pretty good, but the fries and sauces are where it's at—definitely give 'em a try. The decor and service are decent too. The burger patties are like smashed burgers and on the smaller side, so you might as well go for the double.Vegetarian options: Faffalfel burger

I love this place 9 times out of 10. But not today. Bacon should not be all fat. Especially when it's so thick. That's just gross. I couldn't eat any of the bacon on the burger. Otherwise this place is great!

Great burger and fries! Great service in spite of being very busy.

The beef was completely dry and thinner than a slice of ham, I would describe it more like a crunchy cookie than a beef patty. The buns where dripped with sauce and became a gooey mess that was impossible to hold. The fries were okay but I would prefer less seasoning as it was a bit overpowering. The service was fast and employees were nice.

Great burgers and milkshake. Burgers were moist and heafty. The shakes were sooo yummy and thick. Fries were pretty thin, but decent.

So good I forgot to take a picture. Might be the best burger I've had. Ever. And the fries! Omg. Great location and atmosphere. I bet this place is great in the summer. Beers. Hot sauces. Definitely will be back.

Fried chicken sandwich is one of the best I've had, hands down. Fries are also good and I loved the chocolate shake. However, this place has some weird proportions on their menu which is why it's one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I don't get why it's cracker thin? When I crave a burger I like it thick and juicy. The lettuce was thicker than the meat on my bun and the burger was so thin I choked on how dry it was. Also the chicken nuggets are so giant and thick I feel like I'm eating a fully fried baby chick. Would be a lot better it was half the size (maybe an unpopular opinion) and 50% less oily.

Over $15 for just a burger. I expected it to be amazing. Got home and could only stomach two bites. I’ve never bit into a burger doused in salt before. I don’t know what happened, but it was way too salty to eat! $15 dollars for a dinner I couldn’t eat. So disappointed.

We ordered sliders, fries, and salads for a first birthday party and everything was delicious! I placed the order in the morning for an afternoon collection and it was freshly cooked and packaged perfectly. They sent everything we needed to customise the sliders and all the guests loved it!
