Excellent food, made from fresh high quality ingredients. We had kebabs, 4 different appetizers, homemade pita bread, homemade baklava. The dolmas appetizer was the best dolmas I have had anywhere. Friendly waitstaff know the menu well.

I don't normally like baklava but this one was Moist and had lots of flavor.
The eggplant was wow. That's a hard veggie to cook in my opinion. The mixed entree was very yummy. The lamb was super soft. I would go back when on town

I used to come to the earlier iteration of this place pretty frequently, I often craved the vegetarian moussaka like crazy.
I assume this place is the same as the last time it was open here under the same name; I was excited to visit this location when they moved back in, but was also soon disappointed to find that neither the moussaka nor any type of meatless meal was on this current menu.
My husband eats meat but he's not going to take me on a date to a place where the only thing I would eat is a plain side dish of pasta. Even having one token veggie main dish is a great way to bring in couples on dates or groups of friends when they're looking for a place that has something to include the person in the group who doen't do meat.
I plan to delete this review after a few days since I i always liked this place before and not actually eating there the last time isn't a fair reason to leave this review up forever- I mostly wanted to use this review as a way to beg for the vegetarian moussaka to come back.
Delicious food and wonderful service.

Their old menu was much better.
Excellent meal. Strongly recommend the meze platter...which they will provide even though not listed on menu. The appetizers were amazing and 4 plus one entree a great meal for 2.

Restaurantji Recommends
Menu has many healthy Mediterranean choices, attentive staff, lovely indoor private booths and tables, outside on deck with distant view of the Salish Sea and Olympic Mountains. Lovely addition to West Seattle's restaurant scene, a cozy yet elegant restaurant

The food and service were outstanding! I had the day’s special, lamb stew, which was very flavorful and delicious. My girlfriend ordered the mixed meat kabobs that were tasty. The Caesar salad that came with the main was crisp and fresh. The focaccia bread and assorted hummus spreads were a great appetizer. A perfect finish to our meal was the homemade baklava—some of the best I’ve ever had!! I highly recommend Efesis and I definitely will be back for more.
