I had the fish tacos here, which were great. So I decided to try the fish burrito and it was suggested that I get it smothered. That stuff is too good! Drinks here are also great, had a few different ones and they all were very tasty. This will forsure be a go to spot for some late nights by the beach

I want to be very transparent about why I cannot recommend this place, especially after giving it more than one chance. I recently returned out of obligation, not by choice, because if it had been up to me, I wouldn’t have come back at all. And after this last visit, I stand by that.
A few months ago, my family and I had an incident that still doesn’t sit right with me. My grandparents were visiting and we wanted to take them somewhere nice on their last day here. They’re the type of grandparents who love to enjoy life, so we were hoping for something calm and simple. My sister, who is 24, didn’t have a vertical ID. I fully understand that some places cannot allow that. Policy is policy, and that was never the issue.
The issue was the state of the employee who approached us.
He spoke to my sister with unnecessary aggression, and his behavior was concerning enough that it raised real questions about whether he was in the proper state to be working. His pupils were extremely dilated, his reactions were erratic, and nothing about the situation matched the intensity he was showing. Even the bar staff looked confused and uncomfortable with how he was acting.
My sister wasn’t rude. She wasn’t arguing. She was simply trying to understand the situation and leave respectfully if that’s what needed to happen. But the hostility we experienced was completely out of place, especially considering the rooftop was practically empty.
I didn’t get his name, and I regret not speaking to a manager in that moment. No customer should ever have to question whether a staff member is sober, stable, or safe enough to interact with them.
Coming back recently and still feeling that lack of professionalism only confirmed that this wasn’t an isolated case, but a bigger problem.
Good food and a nice environment lose all meaning when the service feels unsafe, unprofessional, and disconnected from basic respect.
I’m more than willing to provide the exact day and approximate time of the incident if management wants to review what happened

A fun ska/punk kinda Mexican food place. Been here twice already in a month. I had the Carnitas burrito wet style. Really good, carnitas could of used a bit more crisping/fry to it but other than that it was great. Had a can of Rainier with chips and salsa. All their sauces are so good. Service was fast, friendly and authentic. Cool people work there. Second time we went happened to be during a Pride event so it was pretty busy in the area but the upstairs area was open so we went up there. Wife and I had the verde chicken taco salad. Loved it! We had Micheladas with our food. Service again was outstanding considering how busy they were. Always love going to Alki it reminds me of back home in Santa Cruz, CA when we lived there. Brings me comfort when I'm feeling homesick.

Loved it. Directly in front of the beach; outdoor seating,; tasty variety of home made salsas. I ate the burrito with side of chips and extra variety of salsas. It was great! I’ll be back!

We walked in excited to try it, we were disappointed because the food wasn’t that great, we got fish battered tacos it had a cream on top but it taste just like mayonnaise, the rice and refried black beans were okay, I ordered a Paloma and also it wasn’t that good, our server didn’t even say hi when she arrived to our table to take our order. Atmosphere it just not our type.

Same as my review for the other location in Phinney Ridge. My favorite Mexican food in the city, especially if you're a vegetarian. This location is a little louder, but you can't beat the views on the upstairs deck.
