I’ve been looking for a delicious white queso in the Seattle area for a while now and I have found my new spot. The chips came out hot and fresh with salsa and were a perfect pairing. I finished off with the Pollo à la Crema for my meal which was flavorful and a nice portion. I will definitely be back.

Taco plate - tacos fell apart, chicken had zero flavor. Not good at all

Nacho plate - completely covered in cheese couldn’t even find the chips in the nacho plate just absolutely not appetizing at all

Strawberry Margarita - Pretty good can’t complain about it at all

Service - Outstanding quick service, very good service from the employees. food is just not very good.

Overall best Mexican food I’ve had in Seattle. Chips are amazing, rice and beans have flavor. I didn’t have much hope for Mexican food in Seattle but this place reminds me of home. Simple and tasty Mexican food

Outstanding food and service! The flavors were spot on, portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A perfect place for families or a casual night out. Highly recommended! They provided vegetarian food without onion and garlic.

El Farol is a casual, friendly Mexican food option with a warm atmosphere and simply satisfying dishes. I've been in twice recently and had positive experiences both times, whether it's sharing nachos with a friend or getting the lunchtime special Supreme burrito as I did today - an affordable deal for Seattle. Nothing I've tried has yet knocked my socks off, but it's been exactly what I was looking for: a family-owned restaurant with delicious, reasonable portions for a solid price.

Picked up food here today and honestly… wow. They didn’t give me any utensils, no sauce, and the food had zero flavor. But hey, credit where it’s due — they served up the best microwave tortillas I’ve ever had (yes, they were literally microwaved). If that’s the highlight of the meal, you know it’s bad.

Probably not entirely the thing you're looking for if you like 100% authentic Mexican food... but if you don't mind a little Americanization, this place is pretty good. It's a bit expensive though for what you get. Though my portion did fill me up. I would recommend coming here for the specials, I'm not sure a lot on the main menu is worth it.

Chicken fajitas and Polo Asado were good. Tortillas could have been softer.
