Terrible food
I’ve dined at El Gran Taco twice and I’ve been very impressed with the quality of the food and its large menu . The service was exceptional with a smile. ❤️❤️
I have not yet ordered, because I cannot order online. I have called 3 times and gone straight to voicemail, the menu redirects to the main El gran taco website, and door dash/other sites always say it's temporarily closed for ordering. Very hard to order food in advance if there's no possible way to.
I went to this taco truck and I got the Tacos al pastor especial when the cashier ask me for the Salsa I ask for green salsa but he warned me about it was spicy 🔥🥵 Dude no joke 🤣 perfect Salsa other places they have al pastor tacos and usually is pork adobo this one I taste the Achiote flavor on the meat for seating they have 2 benches but is a taco truck there is plenty of parking to eat in your car I recommend this place very polite crew and good food 👍 thanks gracias

Decent Mex food, pretty good but the prices are about the same as a sit-down restaurant. Most lunches are $13-16 (without drink), but there is a covered picnic table if you need to eat on site. The do have a vegetarian burrito option and about 8 different kinds of meats to choose from.
They will provide you a beeper so you can wait in your car or nearby if you like.
Sometimes there's a daily special which will include a drink.

Was out taking a little cruise and stumbled upon this taco stand. It was decent 👌 I'd come back.

Sad - they replaced the trailer with a truck and it is just not good anymore. This was easily the best burrito truck around, and they survived a move twice to each side of the Grocery Outlet. I won't go back, heartbreaking, I loved the trailer and had to stop myself from going more than twice a week. The new truck cured that.
EDIT - owner response denotes truck engine problems, but the problem we observed is all food quality has taken a distinctly bad downturn. Refried beans a mix of dehydrated and cooked, the different meats in burritos quite bad in flavor, texture and preparation. All food is lower quality than previously, not sure if they are cheapo-ing out on ingredients, it was a bad day or this is the new normal, but it is very bad. Went from recommending to anyone who would listen to being embarrassed I ever went. That kind of downturn in quality - not the truck.
