I stopped in for an early dinner during happy hour, so it wasn't terribly packed. It has a nice seating area in the back. I ordered the tilapia special which came with a lovely citrus salad. Staff was nice and I believe this is an extension of Fonda La Catrina just next door.
One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I love the atmosphere and another great location for Baja Mexican/seafood. It's fun to share appetizers and the drinks are super satisfying. Every time I go people have kids, so I would say it can be kid friendly, but had a 21+ vibe in my opinion. Every time I go I feel like I'm on vacation or in a different place than Seattle for a few hours. I can't wait to try it's sister restart next door, La Fonda Catrina.
Stopped in early on a Saturday for light eats and a drink. Really nice server. Charming ambiance, indoor and outdoor seating, flowers on table, nice lighting. I imagine as the space fills it becomes loud as tables are seated in close proximity. House cab was good, as were chips salsa and guacamole. One order is for two people not four. I had a tuna dish, which was very tough tuna, not delicate at all sadly. Would not order again. The ceviche was good, steak asada good, and a shrimp...
