I'm English, this ain't. This place is probably why Americans think British food is rubbish. The actual ingredients are good but are not put together well, the pie and gravy had no seasoning whatsoever.

Great atmosphere! In town for a convention and place was packed. Bartenders were slammed but still always came by to check to see if I needed anything. Definitely recommend!

Went for diner with my team during a visit. I ordered the fish and chips and it needed more seasoning. We ordered the brownie and ice cream and it was a chocolate cake. The server was not very friendly. I did like the pool table and the outside London decor.

Had an amazing experience in February at Elephant&Castle- Seattle while traveling for a work conference. Sat up at the bar and had an awesome experience. I was looking for somewhere to watch basketball. The bartender Nic C (at least that was the name on the receipt, bartender with dark black hair) put the game on the a screen. I ordered the pie flights and poutine. The food was amazing and quick. Bartender provided great service while I watched the game. I noticed how great the service and food that other people ordered. Thanks for making this a highlight of my work trip! 5 stars all around

A pub in downtown Seattle...about as good as you can expect these days. Good for families as there is a section away from the bar. We started with dessert (bread pudding), yummy. Butter chicken was ok, though I don't think I would order it again. My wife had the pie flight, she enjoyed it.

We went as a small group while in Seattle for a conference. It's a nice sized space, casual atmosphere and decent food if you're looking for the basics, like burgers and fries (although the fries were too salty for my taste and the server indicated that I couldn't order them without seasoning). We also ordered what they said was a brownie - but really it was more like cake. It was a huge portion size, but just tasted ok. The server was a bit rude at times, but I'll chalk it up to him being stressed because it was a busy night.

Mostly the food was good, they had haddock which is a find in this area, the chips not so much, pre seasoned? whats the green stuff, if your going to do it, do it right and the chips were pretty much cold. Its actual proper english sausage in the sausage rolls which was awesome. Chicken pot pie, weirdest tasting chicken pot pie ever no idea whats going on there. But for both of us the biggest problem was our server. All started out good, however at one point he came over and asked my hubby if he wanted a refill on his iced tea, yes please, and he got it, I wasn't asked if I wanted another drink, which actually I did, my hubby tried to get his attention but couldn't. Then when he did finally revisit us, he asked if everything was alright, so I said yes except I wanted another drink but you didn't bother to ask me. If looks could kill I would have exploded! He didn't say a word just walked off. Came back with the bill, didn't say a word, no Im sorry I missed you, nothing. Due to his reaction he didn't get a great tip which he could still have got, he is lucky he got a tip at all. I don't understand if you cant cope with being told you dropped the ball in a service industry, when you haven't given good service AND you cant be bothered to apologise at the very least, GET ANOTHER JOB! Atmosphere was great, it was the server that let this lovely pub down. Would we go again? Maybe.....but the next day we went to an Indian restaurant, food was impeccable, best Ive had in over 20 years in the US, service was friendly and timely, I think we would drive to Seattle simply to go there....

The fish and chips were great even with my order being to go. The pretzel and cheese sauce stood out the most and the bread pudding was great first experience. Will return when I'm back in town.

When I used to work in Seattle, I would always wander by here but never gave them a try until last Sunday on an early evening. Was very disappointed in the result. First off, for a weekend date, you need a reservation otherwise you are placed in the downstairs area or end up waiting for a while. We got our seat downstairs. Service was still on time and they let us be rather than checking in on us every 10 minutes. It was also a negative because when i requested for more bleu cheese (side note: there was barely any bleu cheese in my Bacon & Bleu Cheese Burger) they didnt arrive until about 30 minutes later and i was already almost done with my burger. For food, we ordered a Bacon & Bleu Cheese Burger (one strip of bacon with barely any bleu cheese. Literally was one piece of ingredient listed vs generous. Patty was well done as requested though) with a side of fries (loved how crispy the fries were), Manta's Butter Chicken (noted as an okay attempt at Indian food for an American restaurant), and Bangers & Mash (noted as she enjoyed this meal as it was a good satisfying meal to end the night). Overall, one of us will come back but the rest of us have noted not to come back here again. Very skimpy on the food and seems like you will get forgotten if you dont have a reservation.
