I got the first item on the menu, the hash. It was very good, but the portion seemed small. My dietician would love smaller portions, but I didn't like it. I would never dare complain or ask for more. It is what it is. It makes me wonder if they served 50% bigger portion to all guests, how much it would cost them. Bartender was excellent. I ordered the Cajun eggs Benedict — the biscuit was solid, but the dish overall needed more depth. The sauce leaned tobacco-vinegar and didn’t bring much flavor beyond that. As someone who’s spent quite a lot of time in the Southeast, I have to note beignets should be pillowy, not chewy.
