It was very overpriced. We ordered lamb chop( absolutely no salt or taste) and fish. Our plates were full of fried cucumbers and pepper than meat. Compare to what we paid it really did not worth what we paid. The kofte and dolma tastes good thought. Be aware: It was paid parking .
This was an awesome place to try out! The food was above and beyond amazing! Our waiter was the best! The baklava was amazing! This is the best food I've had so far in Seattle! I would highly recommend this restaurant for a must stop!
This is the place to go for Mediterranean food near pioneer square. The hummus, feta, and eggplant is fantastic. We also had the octopus with the bean puree, and a dish with peppers, rice, potatoes and a tomato sauce that were all real fresh and tasted great. Casual seating, and the park has become very safe to walk around in. Don't skip the Greek and Turkish coffee.... It's absolutely rocket fuel!!! If you are going to any event in this area this is a super convenient spot to pregame and enjoy!!!
Great food and nice little place. It’s made by the people who grew up eatin this food so I’m happy to be part of eating great food from the flaming cheese to the lamb skewers and the meat pie. I like it but it’s on the spendy side so be ready to leave an arm and leg for lunch and the baklava it wasn’t that good at all It was soggy on the bottom and that just put a bad taste in my mouth, soggy pastry dough sucks. Also don’t pay for parking just park at the store next to it and walk over that’s what we did!
Such a pleasant surprise! Walked in for lunch, food was delicious (OMG these meatballs ?) and my apperol was impeccable.
Ephesus is a great Greek restaurant on California Ave, my fiancé and I have driven by many times. One could miss this place easily. But the other day we decided to check it out. And what a wonderful surprise that was. The food we shared was nothing short of phenomenal. When you come to eat here you will be rewarded. This is the best Greek food I have eaten in years. The only Greek food that was better, was made by my friend’s Greek grandmother. We are so happy to find such an outstanding Greek restaurant so close by, and very affordable. The food is so fresh and flavorful. The chef knows what they are doing here. This is going to be a new favorite. Check this place out, you will be very happy you did.
Beautiful restaurant. Sub-par service. Didn't receive the waters we asked for. Food was not good at all. My husband ordered a lamb burger cooked medium and it came out well done.Super disappointed but honestly it's pretty on point with other restaurants in Seattle. Bad food, sub-par service, extremely expensive. We went home and ordered a pizza.3 soft drinks, a hummus plate, grilled salmon and 2 lamb burgers was $119 plus tip.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner on a Sunday evening with a friend. The waiter was very attentive and we enjoyed having the opportunity to visit without being rushed. It is a perfect restaurant to enjoy having a conversation with a friend because it is a quiet place without loud music and echoes. The lamb skewer dinner was perfect. Seasoned perfectly along with rice, vegetables and pita bread. My friend enjoyed the beet, arugula salad that she said was perfect along with the sizzling shrimp side order. We will visit again and maybe next time enjoy a dessert that we saw as we left the restaurant. The desserts looked fabulous !! This is a very enjoyable place where you can relax and enjoy a night out.
I liked it so much.. delicious food, excellent customer service. Clean and neat place. Very welcoming staff. Cost is fair compared to the top quality and hospitality you get in there.Highly recommend this place for those seeking unforgettable moments.
Parking: No problem at all.. we just arrived and parked easily.

When we last ate at Ephesus, the bridge was open and the cuisine was Turkish. It was a very good place. We returned today to Greek ownership, absolutely superb service (Madeline), a wide and varied menu, with a great assortments of pastries, I had the moussaka and my wife ate salmon. We also had the appetizer dip sampler prior to our meal and took it home for later treats. We will soon return to sample some of the other offerings and when it warms up, we will drink cognac on the upstairs patio. This is a hidden West Seattle gem.
The food tastes good. I had the soup and the veggie moussaka. Both tasted good. BUT, the vegetable moussaka was an entree, $25, and the bowl was a baby cup. Make no mistake its really really tiny. Highly disappointed by that. When compared to a chicken skewer entree at $19 in their menu or for the pasta or any other item, this was just plain unfair and unbalanced. Then a 3.5% credit card charge for a $35 base cheque is ridiculous. This restaurant needs to learn a lot of things. Its just irritating to cheat customers on portion size. Moussaka is not made of expensive ingredients like a lobster, so the portion size is completely unjustified. Images for reference.
Lovely restaurant and delicious food!! Neighborhood gem. We will return. The outdoor patio and beautiful sunset were delightful.
The food was delicious and the new server did quite a good job, but we had no idea there would be live music and we were unable to converse at our table. The Ephesus website did not mention live music or we would have gone elsewhere for a quieter dinner. Perhaps weeknights are quieter.
Amazing food, lovely restaurant, stellar service and great music! I'll be going back for sure!
