Their coffee is exceptional and truly hits all the right notes. The croissant was equally impressive and rounded out the meal perfectly.

My hot mocha was room temp at best. $8 for a 12oz with alternative milk. Staff had me feeling like an inconvenience so I didn’t feel comfortable asking for my hot beverage to be warmer. Lousy experience. No latte art like they talk about either, the white mocha isn’t actually white chocolate.

The mocha tastes like warm chocolate milk. No espresso taste what so ever. Staff is meh, typical Seattle cold vibes. I can deal with bad vibes as long as drinks are good, unfortunately drinks aren’t worth it.

The coffee here is GOAT. The Nico and White Velvet are really, really good. If you’re in Seattle, this place is an absolute must-visit.

Best espresso in Seattle!

The hot chocolate itself is decent, although very expensive with non-dairy milk and the whipped topping is excellent. The pastries are consistently decent but run out very quickly if you don't get there before 10:00.
My real complaint is the inconsistency of service. I've gone to this location several times in 3 years and the reason I don't go more is because It's not super fun to be in line waiting to be helped and hoping I don't get the person who looks like they would rather set themselves and me on fire than be there. And I can understand a one-off day but this is happened multiple times so it's definitely not a fluke.
Genuinely wondering what's up with the culture behind the counter that's got some of the Baristas so damn miserable while others seem fine. I get it, capitalism sucks and nobody wants to be at work but the misery is palpable here and it is why I don't come anymore unless I'm really craving a hot cocoa or am desperate for a scone.

I visited because I heard latte art had started and that this place was well known, so I made time to come on purpose. Sadly, this is the cappuccino I received, and I was very disappointed.
The barista asked if I had ordered a latte. I said it was a cappuccino, and after that she steamed milk several times.
I was also charged for a latte. When I asked about it, I was told, “It’s basically the same.” It doesn't sound like professional at all.
Overall disappointed.

Hard to beat Vivace! It's a stable classic for a reason. I keep trying to find better espresso in Seattle and I don't think it exists

Lived up to the hype
Very rude baristas. Would not top off my mom’s drink with one tablespoon of steamed milk. She said,” do you want to pay for another drink” EXCUSE me, a little more milk is no skin off your back and does not cost you anything. Will NOT be coming back. Younger women in her late 20’s with brunette hair with braids and black baseball cap. She had a terrible attitude and should not be working in customer service. Been coming here for years and it’s so aggregating as someone who works in customer service myself.

Super classic Seattle vibes at Espresso Vivace with nice drinks and a relaxed atmosphere inside. Appreciated the wall power plugs near my seat to get some tasks done.
