Vibes and staff are great. The upcharge for non-dairy milk is the highest I've seen around town: $1.50. I was excited to see the chocolate sauce was made in-house and is vegan but disappointed upon drinking the hot chocolate at not being able to taste any chocolate at all — it only tasted like sweet mylk. Hopefully the coffee is better but that upcharge is going to keep me away!

Some of the smoothest and most delicious espresso I’ve had! It has a nice industrial aesthetic and a good seating area too.

Wonderful cafe. Great coffees, and a chill vibe.

I’ve frequented this location for several years, and the experience I had today was absolutely horrible compared to any other visit and has me questioning if I want to continue to support. Customer service was absolutely terrible, very different than any other time I’ve been in. The barista was very extremely condescending and seemed outright annoyed that I came in. I was ordering four drinks for my coworkers and was met with several biting remarks and snark between the cashier and the barista quite obviously about me which was alienating. As a person who is also in the service industry, I understand we all have bad days, and I still tipped a personal standard of 40% but I’m definitely going to reconsider buying my coffee here again.

Coffee is fine but the people working there are rude and have a poor attitude toward customers. My dad tried asking what the barista’s opinion on the Rosemary torta and he gave a snarky comment saying “I don’t know, people like different things…” The girl working at front also was rude to him as well when he asked if he could pay after he set one of the coffees on the table we were sitting at, saying in a snappy way “No stay right here and pay.” Would not come back just cause of the horrible service.

The coffee here is good, but the employees are extremely rude and lack customer service. When I ask a question they don’t necessarily answer.. shaking your head to respond is RUDE. Both locations reviews pinpoint how rude the customer service is...yet I see the same rude employees every-time I come. Maybe being rude is a qualification the manager/owner wants upon hiring.

The staff here were straight up rude and condescending. I asked a couple of basic questions and got hit with attitude like I was wasting their time. Not a single ounce of friendliness or effort to be helpful. Just cold, dismissive, and honestly uncomfortable. If you're looking for a welcoming coffee shop, this isn't it. Won’t be returning.

You can't get much better to classic 2nd wave Seattle coffee than Vivace.

I am not sure if its normal/ok for the baristas here to reuse the milk and not rinse the milk pitcher after each use, but it was pretty disgusting to me. Ive never been to a cafe where they literally mix leftover steamed milk from previous customer’s order to the next customer’s order. See that milk residues inside of the milk pitcher? I wonder how many lattes have been served using that same pitcher.

After Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, Espresso Vivace is my jam. My husband and I were visiting from Dallas and we have been watching acooknamedmatt and this was one of his recommendations on his other channel. Let me tell you, his recommendations are spot on. We both ordered the cafe nico both in the regular size. I got mine with oat milk and my husband got his with whole milk. Holy cow, it is unbelievable. We still think about it to this day and we appreciate how it is rich but not overpowering. The orange-cinnamon infusion is such a special touch. We will definitely be back again. Service is great and fast. If you’re looking for a true gem in the world of coffee, come here and get the cafe nico!

The coffee is great but it shouldn’t take as long as it does for them to ship their coffee especially when it’s local.

Low key classic Seattle joint. My coffee lover family member loves these beans as the best. Don’t go here if you’re in a rush.
And the parking situation for quick pick up, you have to basically park illegally, but everyone does it on this block.

Parking: Median divider is where food delivery people park
