Pretty cool place with some nice staples that have unique twists. Portion sizes are definitely on the mid to smaller size so if you want large portions for the cost, this isn't the place to go.

Beware: This incident has been reported to the BBB.
Yesterday afternoon, 1/19, the manager, Karlee, was literally hostile to me and forced me to leave the restaurant then threatened to have security remove me while I was still eating my dinner! She also made me pay for my unfinished meal and full glass of wine! Scenario: A completely RUDE customer yanked the chair in front of me I had my leg on due to severe sciatica. I was startled and shocked by his rudeness and told him so. Then the three people at another table were calling me A Karen and were mocking me for telling the guy he was rude!
Karlee sided with the heckling customers and stated, 'This is a free speech city' which further shocked me! She then forced me to leave the restaurant and she didn't even witness what happened. This business has been reported.

Eureka! at University Village is a lively American restaurant and bar that’s a go-to spot for burgers, drinks, and casual meals in a stylish yet relaxed setting. I like their gourmet burgers from classics to creative twists and appetizers like truffle cheese fries, mac-and-cheese balls, and crispy Brussels sprouts. The Ahi Tuna Poke, Seafood Tacos, and fresh salads are also tasty, and lighter options. Plenty of craft beer and cocktail choices add to the fun, making it a favorite for lunch, dinner, or happy hour after shopping at the Village.
Service tends to be friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels upbeat without being overly noisy, with bar seating often recommended if you want quicker service and interaction with bartenders. Happy hour brings good deals on drinks and select small plates, which we appreciate.
Overall, the quality and vibrant vibe keep me coming back, and with free nearby parking and a convenient location within the U Village, Eureka! remains a solid choice for casual, flavorful American fare.

Our favorite brunch spot, perfect for large groups, always a good time. The protein bowl I ordered last time was great!

The wagyu bone marrow burger made me vomit and diarrhea. I’m not sure if it was due to food mishandling or if it’s because the burger was SO greasy that I wasn’t able to digest it properly but I’m guessing it was the latter. Burger tasted good but it was the oiliest burger I’ve ever had. It looks fine in my photo but when I picked it up in my hands, the patty was drenched and dripping in grease.
It has been almost 24 hours since I last vomited but I can still taste the grease every time I burp. My boyfriend had the fresno fig burger, luckily he didn’t get sick from it but when I tried a bite of his burger, it honestly tasted kind of gross and funky (weird choice of ingredients).
The service was fine, this is the only reason I’m giving a 2 star rating but please make your wagyu bone marrow burger less greasy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was not the only one who was a victim of this burger.

Restaurantji Recommends
First beer I ordered they ran out of, didn’t ask me what I would like instead just brought out a”light beer”. Brought it to the attention of the waiter who still did not correct the mistake. Food is very low-mid. No one at my table especially enjoyed anything they ordered, especially for the price. Think Applebees - somewhere in that range. Wish we would have tried Joeys across the street or something else in the area. I’d recommend trying something else if dining in this area.

Didn’t give me dressing for my salad, salad was bad, wife’s burger came with literally nothing but onions when she ordered a full burger. Do not recommend

I've been coming here regularly now for about 6 months. The food is fine, but what really keeps me coming back are the staff and service. Cecilia is the most warm, wonderful server. She always remembers us, remembers what we like to order, and always brings the vibes! She is the best, I look forward to coming here because of her.
