Went for chicken at about 7:30 tonight, on our way back from Vashon ferry. 4 people working, talking to each other loudly, ignoring customers, no dark meat chicken to sell only a few old looking spicy breasts and wings. Rude. People in front of us walked out, we were told it would be ready in 25 minutes, but no one moved to “drop in chicken”. Very sad, bad service. I used to love Ezell’s, but it’s totally a crap shoot now, who knows what you get!

More expensive than expected. Left out the muffin for one order. Tasted ok but find other fried chicken much juicer and flavorful. Staff was really great and friendly, as always

Overall pretty good. Spicy chicken is not spicy at all, but that’s the only complaint about the chicken. BBQ beans are good but a bit too sweet for me, being from Texas where BBQ is everywhere. The ranch and honey mustard sauces were very nice

I ordered a 1 pound chicken tenders today and only received 7 chicken tenders for 2 people. And I ordered my usual 1/2 pound of chicken gizzards and it looks more like 1/3 of a pound than what I'm used to. They just lost my business. I feel cheated.

I can’t speak to the atmosphere portion of the review because we haven’t dined in at any Ezell’s locations but the workers were nice, maybe a bit overwhelmed by dinner rush. This location doesn’t keep up with the other locations as far as consistency of the food.
Moving to WS I was excited to find that there is an Ezells location in town, as I previously frequented the Wallingford and Central District locations. I’ve been going to the CD one for 20+ years, it’s always good!
The WS location is off on its seasoning, the gravy tasted like flour water & was light brown. The other locations gravy is darker brown in color. The rolls are pale and a couple of ours were not fully baked. The chicken tenders were lacking seasoning but they were breaded well.
All in all we were disappointed. This is the second time we’ve been let down but first time writing a review. We hope they improve because we do like the flavor when it’s done right.

I love the crew at this location. We order regularly and not only do we enjoy the food, but the people who work here recognize us when we come to pick up.

Food is overall good. A bit pricey for the quality, but still fun to visit every few months. Located in a very convenient area with a lot of parking near the Thriftway. The staff could stand to be a bit more friendly, though; not rude, per se, but they definitely make it clear they don't want to be there. I got a refund for a missing item in my order, so the company does the right thing by the customer, they could just stand to be a little friendlier at this location. I prefer the U-District location.
