People? Friendly and chill! Cleanliness? Spotless! Food and drink? Very very tasty. I got an oat milk mocha, and it was better than most mainline brands have to offer- this is coming from a former Starbucks addict. If I had to pick one or the other I highly recommend fable.

Stopped in for breakfast this morning on our way home from the park and it was delicious, cozy, and great service! The quiche of the day was exquisite, coffee was great, and kiddo loved their cinnamon roll.

It's not just that they're in my neighborhood, this is a great cafe with good vegan options, great bevs and a fun wine collection. I haven't been there for dinner yet. Basically, everything is easy and perfect.

Delicious food. The breakfast options are amazing and fairly priced. The staff if kind, patient, and friendly. The indoor space is beautiful, comfortable, and accommodating to a variety of party sizes. The natural wine selection is fantastic. This is one of my favorite spots in south Seattle.

The shop is very cute and has a fantastic array of natural wine and beer options. Olympia Coffee and some Sea Wolf bread. Unfortunately, my breakfast sandwich was over microwaved, and the bread was super hard. I was disappointed in the dry hard bread, and the microwaving. Also, charging extra for sauce for your hard dry sauceless sandwich is a rough move. I'd return for the bottle shop but not the food.

I tend to support local small businesses within walking distance so since I moved back to the area, I've already made a few trips here. A very pleasant & cozy day cafe in a newer building. The interior design is very well-done, especially with the blacked out utilities hanging from the ceiling (which often times other businesses just don't bother with); this helps create a strong harmony top-down inside. Feels like a subtle classical big city American diner w/ modern flair. Similar menus and format throughout the day; the dinner time is just a bit less casual. Their vegan options are super decent. Not a huge fan of romesco sauce but the eggplant sandwich is nice. My current favorite item is the seasonal squash soup w/ focaccia bread side (plus extra side bread of baguette). Wholesome, healthy and goes down smooth; plus, who doesn't love a good dipper with sides of bread? They also have a small case of treats. Usually, I'd get the chocolate brownie or spiced scone. Every other morning/afternoon, you'll probably find me getting my decaf oat latte fix with one of their neat house flavors or seasonal specials in my personal mug. Don't forget bringing your own bag (totes are my favorite) for take-out can help them save supplies. Minor things (I can notice these small details) for feedback: The bar counter at the far end could've been extended 6-12" longer to more comfortably fit 1 extra bar seat. And the bathroom sink spout is too close to the bowl edge; that too should've been extended a few inches out. Staff is otherwise very friendly and chill. 2 thumbs up, yo!

Well this is the European style wine/coffee/food cafe Seattle has been needing. Fable All Day has all the Seattle feels, but the anything goes, eat and drink what you are in the mood for Cafe informal. We had the beef cheeks and duck confit waffles. Both were amazing. Tender and full of flavor. The beef cheeks had a steel cut oat with the aju, and the duck had a candied orange jam with it that was to die for. Dessert was a gluten and dairy free chocolate brownie that was absolutely perfect. Super comfortable and lovely staff. We will be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options all over the menu!!!

What a cute little cafe. The layout is interesting and the have a nice what looked like a country chic look. We ordered a couple of coffees and sandwiches. I had the ham breakfast sandwich which was tasty and the Sunshine golden milk which had a nice flavor. The cafe was nice and clean and the service was pretty good. Not over the top friendly, but ok. The cafe is in a nice location and I can see how this place will draw in locals in the neighborhood.

Wonderful experience with friendly staff, delicious food and great prices. There is also a nice selection of wines to go with very decent price points. The staff know their wine and are ready with recommendations.Highly recommend the tuna and duck. The cheese plate was delicious and had enough bread (I sometimes find restaurants skimp on that). Crème brûlée was divine!

An outstanding experience in every possible way. Elegant, inviting & beautifully designed space. Lovely jazz music on soundtrack. On a quiet afternoon, Fable felt good for my soul. My ham breakfast sandwich was so good. High quality, simple ingredients & the brioche bun is from my fav Sea Wolf bakery. But here's where tr customer service elevated my experience to a 10. My drip coffee although excellent was lukewarm. They explained on slow weekdays late afternoon they don't brew fresh pots often so generously offered to brew me an Americano for free! It was piping hot & excellent! Owners & staff: congrats on creating a very special place. Highly recommend. (I love that they are environmentally conscious & have cloth napkins)'

I have been to Fable twice now for breakfast and coffee and they do NOT disappoint. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food and coffee is outstanding. I recently tried their seasonal coffee beverage, the Mocha Arbol, and it was one of the best coffee drinks I have ever had. So thankful to have this new spot in the neighborhood!
