Nope! Mediterranean food around Seattle is mostly disappointing.

We ordered the babaganosh and shawarma. The babaganosh was unusually yellow, and it was so salty and spicy that we couldn’t taste the eggplant at all. Unfortunately, it was inedible. The shawarma was also extremely salty and spicy, and despite being very hungry since it was 9pm, we could only finish half of it between the two of us. The place was also very messy to eat. On the bright side, the owner was friendly and nice, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, even if you’re in a pinch.

Rude. Unsanitary. Not fresh. Not Halal. Not shawarma. Please avoid this place if you value your health, respect and good service. The shawarma is not actual shawarma, it’s cut chicken stored in a greasy container. The beef shawarma is actually doner kebab. The place is very dirty and poorly maintained. It’s one of those places you only need to look at once to know you’ll have food poisoning. We asked for the source of their halal meat and the guy got extremely triggered and started shouting at us. Told us to go outside and didn’t let us choose what sauce to put. When we didn’t take the disrespect and stood our ground, he shouted at us to get out and didn’t want to serve us. Thankfully we got a refund and avoided a trip to the ER. Overall a complete disaster of a place. Save yourself.

This is a little hole in the wall place, but the food is excellent. Their falafel really is top notch.

Absolutely delicious falafel plus quick and friendly service. This is a great option for an affordable and satisfying option near the market. The falafel pita was thoughtfully prepared and very tasty.

One of the best quick meals I have eaten in Seattle. We had lamb shish kabob and a combo plate, it was very flavourful. I was surprised by how good it tasted by how fast it was prepared. I will come back for more and definitely recommend this place.

I ordered through the website as I knew it would take me about 30 minutes to walk to Falafel King and I wanted the food to be ready when I got there. When I arrived, I told the owner I was there to pick up my food, and he acted surprised as if he had no idea I ordered online. My credit card was already charged so I knew it went through. After about 5 mins of him looking on a tablet, he found my order, and then told me I should have called to confirm he received my order. He never apologized, and he also made it seem like I was the one in the wrong. Food was okay, at best. I wouldn’t order from there again due to the average food and ignorant owner.

Ordered delivery on their website and never received my order. Called them and told them that and they they brushed me off and said it was doordash's issue and I should contact them. Not even offering up to contact them for me or just sending out another order. Instead, I spent 25 minutes on the phone with doordash customer service trying to get back a refund for an order I placed through Falafel King. Nightmare.
